The April from The Sims team was more in-depth than in previous months. It centered around giving opinions on potential themes for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4 DLC as well as allowing us to rate location inspiration and features 𒁏that would deepe🔜n the existing content. There were even questions about what CAS item categories and functionality could be added.
In total ten 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:different themes were suggested, with just a couple of sentences about each one being offered as a teaser. Here we take a look at them all, speculate about what could be i💜nvolved and decide which and which ones we hope꧒ the team avoids.
10 Need: NPC Story Progr🎐ession 🌠
This is something that is hugely missed from the game at present. At the moment you have to play families to properly progress their stories, unless you use a mod. Allowing neigh🎉bors to live out their own stories would hugely impact the world, making it feel far more realistic.
It would be great if this was linked just to 🍨a pack or able to be toggled off, so players who like to control everything had a choice but for many realism is a huge✃ want. Story progression is likely sitting at the top of many Simmers lists and is an absolute must.
9 ꩲ Avoid: Cheer
The description of this topic implies that it would focus on the cheerleading experience, building a team, learning routines, and performing or maybe even competing. Our instinct is that this would be a game pack that would complement existing content such as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Discover University.
The potential for this to be another My First Pet Stuff is huge. It feels like a pack that would need to b♊e used alongside other content, a concept many hated. Also, cheerleading just isn't a big deal for many people, especially outside of the US, putting this one on the avoid list.
8 Need: Growing Pains꧑ and Life Issues
Teens have been done a disservice in The Sims 4. They really don't feel fleshed out as a life stage, feeling like a limited version 🍃of children. Parenthood helped a little but teens still feel bland and they are also often ignored in CAS.
Children have toys and phases and craziness, young adults have university and life choices. Teens have... well the odd mood swing. We want autonomous acne, more realistic CAS choices, and for teens to feel the angst rꦫeal teens do, making this a huge yes.
7 🐼 🎐 Avoid: Fan Club Creator
This is a theme that we just can't see having much use. We already have an underused but amazing club system in Get Together and this feels too close to that. Memorabilia could be used 🍸for decor but really how often would it be used?
We just can't see the ongoing value in being able to make crazes and th꧂ere are already so many things to collect that most of us never collect. This one is firmly in the avoid category.
6 Need: American High Schools 🧸 🌜
While cheer doesn't really tick our boxes a wider high school experience certainly does. Being able to attend high school would be a huge boost to the teenage life stage and one we'd welcome with o𒁏pen arms.
We want that US high school drama expe💎rience we see in movies and on tv for our sims, with rocky relationships, cliques, 🔴drama, and yes even exams. A high school expansion would be great.
5 🅠 Need: Bands
Music is very limited in The Sims 4. We have a small smattering of instruments and the ability to write songs. Art has several careers linked to it and photography has been given a boost, you can also create videos, pursue acting, and become famous. Against this backdrop music is blan🏅d.
Being able to form a proper band, play gigs, and potentially rise to fame in an active career similar to acting would be an experience we 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:very much want. We want music to feel more important, more organic, and more rewarding🐲.
4 Avoid: Culinary Quest ൩
Don't get us wrong, we love the idea of creating recipes, running a kitchen, and being more involved with this aspect of life. However, it doesn't feel like something that needs to be in The Sims 4.
There are plenty of cooking simulator games and in terms of this game, we already have quite a lot of cooking content. You can cook or bake and run a store selling your wares, you can collect recipes to expand your selection and you can manage a re💛staurant. We don't need any more cooking content, especially when the restaurant content we have is known to be bug-ridden.
3 ꦛ 🌃Need: Shopping Malls
We'd like shopping malls now, please. While we do have retail stores, thanks to Get To Work, they have always been very limited. Be♔ing able to own a store in a mall would no doubt add huge dep✤th to them.
We'd also love to actually go shopping. We want to able 🌸to scour stores to get supplies, instead of clothes magically appearing in our closet. We'd also like the full food court and mall cop experience.
2 Avoid: Modern Love and Romance ♔
This topic was tricky to place as it could potentially swap sides, d🔥epending on what exactly was included. The suggestion given was that it would focus on different relationship types and digital dating.
While it would be nice to add more connections into the sims family tree this isn't an area we feel too restricted in compared to others. However, if it incl🅘udes an in-depth attraction system and an overhaul of the relationship system then that may change our minds.
1 ▨ Need: Heᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚists
Another love or hate topic, heists is something we've never seen before. Since we can now gain a degree in villainy be🔯ing able to put it to good use in a heist so♔unds like fun to us.
However, this is another topic that could switch sides, depending on how it played out, but the idea is intriguing enough for us to want to see it. We'd just need to see more long term gameplay in the pack, so it is more like Jungle Adventure, that's a great vacation world that happens to have temples to explore, and less like Strangerville, that can feelꦦ like a chore to transform into a regular town.
