It seems like everyone who has played The Sims 4 has an opinion on it. Some think it's the best game in the series, some think that it's the worst, and others are ready to move on to  already. Although there are welcome changes that put it ꦐa step above the other g💖ames in the franchise, there are several things that seem to have been forgotten about in between games that players are still hoping to see brought back. 10 Zoꦆdiac Signs

In real life, people are pretty divided on whether or not your zodiac sign actually has any influence on your personality and compatibility with others, but in The Sims franchise, there's no debate. They definitely do!

In The Sims and The Sims 2, zodiac signs were dictated entirely by a Sim's personality, which was decided by taking personality points and putting them on a scale that decided between two conflicting traits, like Neat and Sloppy. Neat Sims were more likely to be a Virgo, while Sloppy Sims were more likely to be a Libra. In The Sims 3, the influence of zodiac signs focused on compatibility. Two Sims compatible signs were likely to be attracted to each other, which made relationship-building easier. The complete lack of zodiac sign in The Sims 4 is something that players have been upset about since the game's initi🎐al release.

9 🐠 🥃 Attraction And Chemistry

Chemistry and attraction made finding romance in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 feel more organic, since throwing two Sims together indiscriminately wasn't guaranteed to work. With Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs, Sims actually had preferences! Things like personality, skills, career, appearance, and finances suggested a long-term relationship (or not). There were even different levels of attraction. For example, in The Sims 2, Sims would be given a number of li💝ghtning bolts that represented just how irresistible they were... or how repulsive, since there were also negative options.

In The Sims 4, personality traits have an influence over how well two Sims will get along with one another, but ultimately, it's considerably easy to force random Sims together regardless of their personality differences. It would be nice to see Materialistic Sims actually care about the financial status 🌠of a potential romantic partner, and for Active Sims to care about fitness.

8 🃏 ও Trait Variety

There are a lot of in The Sims 4, but several of them can't be applied in CAS. They're available for purchase in the Reward Store or earned. But in comparison The Sims 3, there's still something to be desired. As of The Sims 4: Realm Of Magic, there are approximately 50 traits, while The Sims 3 has 99.

Traits affect more than just a Sim's personality. There are special interactions with objects and other Sims that are only available with specific traits, and it will influence the way that Sims react to things. For example, Sims with the Supernatural Fan trait will be elated when they meet an Occult Sim... which is something that The Sims 4 definitely should've implemented, especially for Aliens.

7 Playful Interactions (And Interactions In Gen💙eral)

There's a disappointing and very noticeable lack of interactions in The Sims 4, especially when it comes to children.

In The Sims, children would play animatedly together by chasing one another around the house. In The Sims 2, there were several different ways for children to play together using interactions alone, including games like cops and robbers. The Sims 3 had no lack of ways for children to play, either, and both of those gamesꦅ had several well-animated ways for children to play with adults as well.

6 Dancing Together ༒

Dancing together has been a thing ever since the very first game in The Sims franchise. Even back in the days of the original game, there were different dancing interactions to choose from. Some were intimate and romantic and others were lively and playful. In The Sims 2, adults were ꦇeven able to dance with children by letting the child stand on their feet.

The Sims 4 is the only game so far to have omitted the ability to actually have Sims dance with one another. They can dance at the same time as one another, which is technically classified as dancing together, and in The Sims 4: Get Together, group dance routines were aꦉdded, but it's just not the same.

5 ℱ Cuddlingꦚ In Bed

In a lot of ways, The Sims 4 has taken several steps back from the progress that was made between The Sims and The Sims 2. In the original game, two Sims sharing a bed simply slept on their own side, flat on their back, but in The Sims 2, there were adorable and autonomous animations added in. With the right type of 𝔉relationship, Sims would snuggle up to their partner in their sleep and even temporarily wake up just to pull them closer befor🐓e drifting back off.

It was a small detail that went a surprisingly long way in adding realism to the rel🐈ationships between Sims, and it seems almost silly that the most recent game in the franchise would leave it out.

4 🎀 Actual Babies

Babies in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 were actually interactive, miniature Sims that could be carried around by other Sims and put down pretty much anywhere. There were baby baths, changing tables, play-mats, swings, and more! Dirty diap𝄹ers and empty bottles would quickly clutter the house.

In The Sims 4, the babies are another way that the franchise has regressed because they're an object. Without mods, they're permanently stuck in a bassinet, wearing one of only two outfits which is determined by their gender. The interactions are barely any better than they were in The Sims, although the ability to breastfeed is definitely a step in the right direction.ℱ Considering how massive the family-style player base is, it seems like a serious oversight to have babies be so lackluster.

3  Messy Beds (And Othe✃r Small Inconveniences)

Small details were the name of the game previously in The Sims franchise, even in the early days. Taking the time to flesh out the little things added realism, a splash of difficulty, and a little bit of character to each Sim. Neat Sims make their bed immediatel𒈔y after waking up, but other Sims don't bother with it, leaving a few chores through their daily life.

Counters and plumbing in The Sims 4 becoꦑme dirty over time, and there are always dishes after every meal, but it'd be great to see a few more things of that n𒈔ature.

2 Cars

One of the most obvious shortcomings of The Sims 4 is its lack of functional cars. There are several decorative ones, but none of them can actually be used to travel. The Sims had carpools and taxis, while The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 had both of those things and the ability to own a personal vehicleso leaving functional vehicles out of The Sims 4 feels like a cut corner.

The modern toddlers are adorable and add some much-needed flavor to a family-style game, but there are still issues. As soon as they age up, toddlers can walk. They can also grab food off s🎶urfaces, entertain themselves,  improve their own skil🥀ls, and even put themselves to bed.  They're practically independent other than their hygiene need and being cleaned up after, which is disappointing.
