How Do You Get Face Masks In The Sims 4?
Assuming you have the Spa Day game pack then you will be able to purchase face masks. To do this you'll need one of the brand new mini-fridges, called Doc Sweet's Luke-Warm Mini Dispenser, which also comes with cucumbers.
Simply click on the fridge and you'll be given a range of different masks to purchase or purchase and apply. Once the fridge is stocked you can simply click it again to open it and then choose which face mask you want.
What Are The Benefits Of Face Masks?
Each face mask will provide different beneficial buffs to Sims that wear it. They include:
- Energized
- Happy
- Hydrated
- Relaxed
- Rejuvenated
You'll also be able to use the fridge to get quick meals, eat cucumbers and drink cucumber power-sip for added cucumber power and a focused buff.
Tip: High Maintenance Sims can be calmed quickly with a face mask, so make sure to keep some handy if you have a Sim with this new personality trait!

Are There Any Negative Effects Of Face Masks?
If your Sim uses too many face masks in a row then they'll end up with irritated skin. You'll see a red rash appear on their face, as seen above, and they will gain an uncomfortable moodlet.
Balancing face mask use is key since removing them too quickly means the benefits won't be felt. Mostly Sims will autonomously remove them but it's worth checking up on them once the buffs kick in.
To remove a face mask simply click your Sim and select the 'remove face mask' option. This will instantly remove any face mask your Sim is wearing. Now go forth and practice some self-care.
