If you can believe it, EA is finally resurrecting the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skate series. After numerous teases this year and the announcement of a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater revival, it seems like 2020 skate fever caught up to EA. To cap off its EA Play Live 2020 stream, Cuz Perry and Deran Chung of Skate fame gleefully announced that Skate is making a comeback.
Even without showing any kind of footage or concept art, this was the best announcement in the show. The original release of Skate was a radical evolution of the skateboarding game genre back in 2007. It not only knocked the Tony Hawk series off of its throne but stole its lunch money. It was truly special and it's been far too long since Skate 3 released.
We're not sure if this next game will be titled Skate 4 or go with some generic reboot moniker, but let's just be happy that EA hasn't completely forgotten about its classic franchises. The timing couldn't have been any better, either, as Activision is likely to continue making Tony Hawk HD remakes should 1+2 prove successful.
What would be super nice is a Skate Trilogy port to current-gen platforms and PC. Since EA is all jazzed about being on Steam now, it would be the perfect thing to ignite the fire of hype for thi🐽s belated sequel.
