Remember Skull & Bones? The pirate game that was supposed to be in development by Ubisoft? It's not surprising if you don't, because it's been lost at sea ever since it was initially announced. The developer thought it would cash in on the hype created by Assassin's Creed: Black Flag by creating a separate pirate-based title, but there's clearly been some developmental issues. Now, it seems Skull & Bones may finally be facing favourable winds according to an insider.

Tom Henderson, primarily known for his reliable inside information on Call of Duty and Battlefield titles, has pointed out that Skull & Bones "is entering it's internal Beta "soon" - The time frame was indicated as Q1 2022." There may even be a chance that we'll actually see the title make an appearance at E3 2022.

The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:last time we heard a🙈nythi𝔍ng about the game 𓆉was last year, thanks to an update by creative director, Elisabeth Pellen. She said that while the development was in full swing, Ubisoft Singapore needed more time to answer critical questions like "how do we modernize the classic pirate fantasy? How do we ensure a more immersive and visceral experience? How do we create co𒐪ol and memorable moments in-game?"

She also mentioned that the game "evolved from its original idea" and needed a fresh team on it, her being one among them. The update signed off saying, "We’re proud of the work we’ve done and we hope you will be too when you see more of Skull & Bones at our comeback next year." This lines up with the information that Henderson has provided. Perhaps we'll finally see sails on the horizon.

Speaking of Ubisoft games that haven't been heard from in a while, Beyond Good & Evil 2 ꦉis currently undergoing a "d🦂evelopment crisis", and many of its developers believe that it might just get cancelled. The beans were once again s💎pilled by Tom Henderson, according to whom, there is a lack of creative direction, which only worse♏ned after Michel Ancel left Ubisoft.

Apparently the game no longer fits in with Ubisoft's future ambitions and goals and is even being referred to as "Skull & Bones 2.0". While development is still ongoing, Henderson's sources believe it's only a matter of time before it's cancelled.
