The is being led by the TESRenewal modding group, whose aim it is to "bring the Elder Scrolls 4: Obliv🌠ion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series". They're doing that by porting every aspect of Oblivion (and rebuilding some🌄 of them too) into Skyrim's game engine.
It's also a voluntary project, so anyone taking part in it is doing so completely out of the goodness of their own heart (and their immense love for Bethesda's masterpiece of immersive open-world gaming). In fact🔯, if you have some game design-related talent laying dormant, why not lend them a hand? 𒅌At this point, any additional help would no doubt be appreciated - especially if it means expediting the process by even just a fraction.
You can apply to be a volunteer on the project .
In With The Old, In With The New
When it comes to recreating one of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:most-loved games of our generation, it seems no task is too big or too insignificant for the S🦩kyblivion modders. Every part of the original game is getting it🐼s own extreme makeover.
That includes everything from the game's characters and its 219 quests to Cyrodiil's many unique and heartbreakingly-beautiful environments and their hundreds of different textures. Both familiar dialogue from the original game (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in all its hilarity), along with dialogue an🦹d entire quests that were ไapparently cut from it, will be carried over. New, original quests made by the Skyblivion designers will be thrown into the mix too.

Each of Cyrodiil's unique towns are getting some hefty facelifts too, most of which are actually getting rebuilt from the ground up. In the original game, every town has its own unique town guard armor set which will be spruced up in Skyblivion as well. All of Oblivion's 2663⛎ interior spaces are getting in♌dividual attention, as well as its 8032 3D objects.
It seems there will be a perfect balan🍎ce of new, fresh content, and the same commitment to the es🧜sential spirit of the 14-year-old game we all adore.

Beauty, Made More Beautiful
Oblivion, despite being somewhat outdated, is still a really gorgeous game to this day. From the sweet serenity of the Great Forest to the captivating Blackwood swamplands, to the somewhat bleak Gold Coast, the game's diverse and memorable environments each have thei෴r own charm (or in the case of the planes of Oblivion, looming dread).
Now imagine all that, but with 4K textures, and a ton more 3D assets. Tha🐻t means actually on posters, signs, and tombstones. Each area will apparently also have its very own color palette, ecosystem, and dedicated "feel" that will no doubt spark up those warm feelings of nostalgia. The enemy overhaul is particularly exciting too. Judging by what we've seen so far, they're going to appear a whole lot more menacing (and downright creepy) than anything the original game could convey.

The modders are also amping up the environmental storytelling by dropping a bunch of additional hidden treasures🤡 and micro-stories to be stumbled upon across the world in order to encourage wider exploration.
NPCs in and around each town are apparently going🌱 to be getting their own special schedules and routines too, and that quintessentially beautiful soundtrack will be accompanied by some brand new original music composed by some 🔯of the modders. Basically, you can expect the overall immersion factor to be off the chain.
The Ultimate Tribute
Skyblivion has already been in development for a good eight years, and unfortunately, we still don't have any idea of when it will be done 💦and dusted. It's at least probable that it'll arrive before the sixth official Elder Scrolls game does, however. But even that isn't really 🌟saying much at this point, seeing as the latter is still years away from completion itself.
At this rate, though, it looks like the finished product will ဣno doubt be on par with a lot of the triple-A games we're seeing released these days. It's certainly going to be more breathtaking than Oblivion's own successor, Skyrim (at least, the 2011 vanilla version of it). Plus, it's likely going to be🍷 completely free-to-play, provided you own a copy of Skyrim.
Regardless, this is certainly something worth waiting patiently for, especially if you're developing a hunger for something that actually feels l🐓ike the Elder Scrolls you've always known 💧and loved.
