10 🧜 She's In The Blaꦰdes
Those who have played previous Elder Scrolls games will know from Oblivion that T🍰he Blades weren't e🐻xactly doing all that well at the end of the game. There was pretty much nothing left of them by the end of it, which is why it's so strange that Delphine would even be a Blade in the first place.
Why is she a Blade? How come she sta༒tes her people have been wai🏅ting for two hundred years? Given that Delphine is a human, this simply doesn't make sense, because of her natural lifespan being so short.
9 She Doesn't Show You To Your R🎐oom
This is more of a minor issue, but a pretty interesting detail pointed out by 🃏some annoyed fans of the game. Innkeepers in Skyrim will usually walk you to your room after you've purchased a night at the inn. It's a nice courtesy and act of politeness, just something to get you more immersed in the game.
However, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Delphine, innkeeper of Riverwood inn, doesn't do this. She's the only one known in Skyrim who will refuse to show you to your room, or simply can't be bothered to do it. No wonder she's eager to get back to 💦Blades business, she's a terrible innkeeper.
8 She Can🍸 Banish You From Sky Haven🌸 Temple
Towards the very end of the main quest, Delphine and the rest of the Blades will have set up camp in Sky Haven temple. Delphine will specifically ask you to finish the job and slay Paarthurnax, the last major dragon who was associated with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the main antagonist Alduin🅘. I𝐆f you choose not to, she can banish you from Sky Haven Temple.
This doesn't make the sense, since the player is the 🀅Dragonborn. The Blades shouldn't be allowed to banish the very person they were ﷽sworn to protect and serve. The fact that Delphine can do this is just strange and frankly quite annoying.
7 Sꦬhe Treats You Like☂ An Errand Boy
The Blades were always meant to serve and protect the Dragonborn. As such, it's not the Dragonborn's job to go on dangerous missions and fetch various items while the Blades just sit back and relax. And yet, this is exactly what you end up doing for Delphine when she asks you to infiltrate🥀 the Thalmor Embassy for instead.
This is such a perfect example, more so because as you arrive to the embassy you'll see Delphine simply stand outside and never go in with you. Of course, it would be difficult to have two people infiltrate, but it's hard to see why she couldn't simply do it hersel🌳f or have someone else do it.
6 She Believes The Thalmor Are Beh♐ind Dragons
Speaking of the Thalmor, their role in the main quest seems forced at best, and Delphine is the main culprit. While it makes sense to have the Thalmor around for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the civil war quest line, it's difficult to see how theyꩲ woul𓃲d have anything to do with dragons returning to Skyrim.
In fact, all of this is really just a "gut feeling" from Delphine, who even admits it. It's a conspiracy 🗹theory at best, and yet she still forces you to go on♉ this extremely dangerous mission to the embassy. In the end, it's all a waste of time, and it's highly unlikely the Thalmor would have anything to do with dragons anyway.
5 🐓 She Disrespects The Greybeards
There's no 🎃end to Delphine's criticism. Nothing is safe from her judgment and complaining, not even the immensely old and wise Greybeards. Arngeir and the rest have been around for hundreds of years, which makes them older than the Blades and much more knowledgeable about the realities of the world.
And yet, Delphine constantly belittles them and puts them down. She considers them to be foolish and beneath herself, which makes absolutely no sense given how she definitely hasn't be𒈔en around for as long as Arngei♔r has and witnessed what the Greybeards have.
4 𒈔 🉐 She's Not Recognized At Dragonsreach
It might seem like a small, nitpicky detail, but it's a bit annoying how the Dragonborn doesn't recognize Delphine at Dragonsreach. Her name is even visible to players, which gives off her identity almost instantly. If the player is following 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the main quest, chances are they've just recently been to Riverwood and s꧂een her at the inn.
A simple hood shouldn't be enough to conceal her identity. It's fairly evident who she is, yet somehow the Dragonborn is still surprised to find out her true identity once they reach her at 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Riverwood's inn again.
3 She Thinks She Can Kill The Dragonborn ꦓ
It's not just🅘 t✅he Greybeards Delphine likes to belittle. She also seems convinced that without her help, the Dragonborn wouldn't be able to do anything, and that they could easily take down the Dragonborn themselves. This is big words coming from someone who has been working as an innkeeper from years.
Moreover, this is the Dragonborn. Few creatꦰures and beings are as powerful as the Dragonborn themselves, who can use the Voice to blast her off a 𒀰cliff and kill her instantly. So, good luck Delphine and keep dreaming.
2 ♏ 💮 She Doesn't Respect The Dragonborn
Even if Delphine's attitude of suspicion towards the Dragonborn is understandable at first, it's disappointing to see it never once chances. It doe🥀sn't matter if the Dragonborn is the Arch-Mage of the College or the Harbinger of the Companion, in her eyes they're still a clueless, talentless newꦫbie.
After Alduin's death, it's the same story. Delphine's ego remains the same thཧroughout the main quest, which makes her character paper thin and boring. She never empowers the player character, 🍌which realistically doesn't make much sense, unless she's jealous or as stubborn as a mule.
1 Shꦉe Asks ꩵYou To Kill Paarthurnax
Alduin's def🌳eat is an immense feat, but that never matters to Delphine whoﷺ insists that you also slay Paarthurnax, the one dragon without which defeating Alduin in the first place would have been utterly impossible. Killing him makes absolutely no sense at all, especially since he overcame his evil nature. Even the Greybeards preach this.
And yet, Delphine doesn't care. She continues to see any dragon as evil by nature, as if she's blinded by what P🌳aarthurnax has done for humanity as a whole. Either she needs to open her eyes and ears or, again, she's just stubborn.
