The heart of many of the communities in the lands of Skyrim is the taverns. You can find one in most settlements across the map, and should often be the first port of🐭 call on arrival in a ✃new location. They may offer a place to stay, have resident bards that offer music, and rent rooms.

Aside from these mundane offerings, they can offer useful facilities to an adventurer. You can hire mercenaries, inquire about rumours, and look for work. There are also a few inns out there with some particularly interesting or useful features that make it worth checking out while you're in the respective town.

10 Old Hroldan Inn 🔯

On the road from Whiterun to Markarth, you can find Old Hroldan, the ancient inn there. It's run by Eydis and her amusingly maturely-spoken son Skuli, who has become the man of the house with no father around.

Their main attraction is the bed Tiber Septim slept in on his campaign to conquer The Reach. It's only ten gold to sleep in, and seems like a bargain. On waking up, however, you'll hear Eydis screaming, and find there is a ghost wandering around the inn. He's searching for a sword that he was promised in life, which warrants a trip out to retrieve it for him. Giving him the sword will net you some weapons training, and rid the inn of their haunting.

9 The Retching Netch 👍꧅

The Retching Netch in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Raven Rock is the only tavern onও Solstheim. Being the only place to get a drink for miles, a lot of interesting characters end up within its walls. You can find Mogrul, the Orsimer loan shark and his bodyguard here often. You can also🌸 pick up a mercenary, Teldryn Sero here, who is a rather useful ally.

In addition, you can get some work from thﷺe proprietor, Geldis Sadri, distributing free samples of his new sujamma around Raven Rock — helpful if you want to get to know the locals.

8 ꦫ The Ragged Flagon 🍬

Not exactly the most accessible watering hole in Skyrim, the Ragged Flagon is accessible only by traversing the Ratway, a dark and criminal-infested warren of tunnels beneath the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:streets of Riften. Eventually you will be met by t🍷he site of possibly the least-aesthetic drinking establishment in the northern Kingdom, a tave💦rn in a sewer.

You also won't find many rooms here; that is, not until you're friends with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a certain Guild, and then🌠 you will find a bed ꦛfor free. Membership will also net you the services of Tonilia, a fence who will buy your illicit goods, or let you launder them of their stolen status. Handy!

7 ✃ The Sleeping Giant 💜

One of the first inns you're likely to run across in an average playthrough, The Sleeping Giant is a seemingly unassuming establishment in the village of Riverwood. Orgnar works behind the bar and is often being yelled at by the owner, Delphine.

The Sleeping Giant and its owner hide a huge secret, however, as Delphine is, in fact, one of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Blades. She has a secret room concealed within the inn that she will reveal as part of the main quest. Eventually, she will leave, and convey the ent🌠ire inn to a rather surpriseꦺd Orgnar.

6 🍌 The Stumbling Sabrecat ♏

Sat inside Fort Dunstad, the Stumbling Sabrecat doesn't give you the warmest welcome. Upon entering, you'll find the owner dead and the place full of hostile bandits. What you might lose in customer hospitality you gain in looting potential, so you will be able to help yourself to a number of the tavern's goods once the robbers have been taken care of.

There's a chest downstairs, a few things left on the former owner, and the takings scattered around, as well as leftover alcohol. The delightful sabrecat head in the main room has a crown on too, if you can reach it.

5 The Moorside Inn 🏅

The Moorside is an underused inn in the small 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:town of Morthal, and the proprietress Jonna put🗹s this down to the lack of custom. This is aside from, though also possibly because of, Lurbuk. The orc plays in the main room, and is infamous for being the worst bard in Skyrim.

Related: The Elder Scrolls: The Dark Brothe﷽rhood, ExplainedHis lack of musical gift and enthusiasm for performance isn't appealing to many people, so it's no surprise that, if you are a member of the Dark Brotherhood, you will eventually be asked to take care of him. Jonna can also convey a bit of news about the area, concerning some mysterious death and the burned building on the edge of town.

4 🍌 The Vilemyr Inn 🍎

Ivarstead is a fairly quiet place. A stopping-post on the way to High Hrothgar, this village doesn't have many features, aside from some farms, the lumber mill, and the Vilemyr Inn. This place is somewhere you may stop off on the main quest, and offers a number of interesting things to investigate. The owner, Wilhelm, will insist on staying away from the town's barrow, claiming it is plagued by ghosts, and give an elaborate tale of his own sighting, prompting you to explore the barrow. He can also give some information on the plight of the resident beggar, Narfi, and his lost sister.

The bard resident at the inn, Lynly Star-Sung, also has some things going on. She is, in fact, Svidi, former fiancée of Sibbi Black-Briar, trying to make a new life under a new name. You may be sent to unmask her for Sibbi's revenge, though you don't have to go through with it, and can leave "Lynly" to her new career.

3 The Nightgate Inn 🐻

Out in the frozen middle of nowhere, the remote Nightgate Inn is a place full of mystery and peculiar characters. First of all, is the enigmatic Fultheim. He resides at the inn, and, according to the owner, is "drinking away a lifetime of bad memories". Strangely, he carries a Blades Sword, something rarely seen in Skyrim due to the Thalmor's animosity toward the disbanded organization. The reason behind this is never elaborated on.

Along with Fultheim, there's Balagog gro-Nolob, a well-spoken and wealthy orc who is definitely hiding something. As it turns out, Balagog is the famous Gourmet, and if you are in the Dark Brotherhood, he will eventually become your target.

2 𝔉 New Gnisis Cornerclub

The New Gnisis Cornerclub 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Windhelm sits in a corner of the Gray Quarter, the somewhat insulting term given to the area where the Dunmer inhabitants of the city are forced to live. It's an open secret that the Cornerclub's drinks are superior to the Nord-run Candlehearth Hall in the square. It appears that alcohol is not all they're trading in.

The Argonian doc༺kworker Stands-In-Shallows will pay you to liberate a bottle of extremely stron🎃g double-distilled Skooma from the place to feed his own habit.

1 The Bee And B𒉰arb 🐟

There's a lot going on in Riften, and much of it goes down at The Bee And Barb. Named after the honey and fishing industries that dominate the city, this place is frequented by all sorts of shady characters. Maven Black-Briar is often in evidence come the evening, as is Louis Letrush, the man who wants to steal her horse and asks you to help him.

The owners, an Argonian couple named Keevara and Talen-Jei, are targets for some extortion from the Thieves' Guild. When you're not threatening them for money, Talen-Jei serves several specialty drinks that cannot be bought anywhere else.
