There's a reason Skyrim has been relaunched so many times. It has endured for far longer than almost any gam🐓e of the past 20 years, with many active players to this day. Unfortunately, there are only so many times one can play through Skyrim with conventional weaponry before things get a little stale.

While PC players can always spice things up with some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ridiculous mods, console players don't have that luxury, so will have to make do with Skyrim's original set of weapons. If you play on console, or simply don't want to dabble in modding Skyrim, check out these unconventional weapons to spice up your next playthrough.

5 💖 🍬 Ghostblade

Ghostblade weapon in Skyrim

While the Ghostblade may play like a conventional one-handed sword, it makes up for this with its aesthetic and lore. Found deep in one of Skyrim's most ancient Nordic tombs, the Ghostblade carries the memory of a once-great warrior through its ethereal form.

The Ghostblade's mechanics mirror its unique form, with a weight of only one to match its ghostly appearance. It also has an enchantment that deals additional damage by ignoring enemy armor, as if the blade is phasing right through the leather and steel to get to the enemy.

You can get the Ghostblade by completing the 'A Love Beyond Death' quest. You can begin this mission by entering Ansilvund, a dungeon north of Riften, and taking out the necromancers within.

4 🎀 Soulrender And Bloodscythe

Soulrender and Bloodscythe Skyrim

Soulrender and Bloodscythe are a pair of unique scimitars that work in an unusual way. Each of them has powerful enchantments, but they only trigger when brandished together. When dual-wielded, they are among 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the most powerful weapons in the game, thanks to their ability to a✱bsorb health and magicka from e🦋nemies.

While their individual effects may be conventional, the dual-wielding mechanics makes them stand out among Skyrim's fairly bland selection of standard medieval weaponry. Using both scimitars may also force you to adapt, and move away from the sword-fireball combo that we're all so used to.

You can find both swords by the remains of Haknir Deathbrand in the Glydenhal Barrow. To access them, you'll have to complete the 'Deathbrand' sidequest, by reading a copy of the 'Deathbrand' book. You can find the book across the Dragonborn DLC, with the easiest copy to find being in Raven Rock Temple. You'll have to be level 36 or above for the quest to trigger upon reading.

3 🐈 Giant Club ꦡ

A follower holding the Giant's Club

A club may not be the first thing you think of when talking about unconventional weapons in Skyrim. The Giant Club, however, is anything but ordinary. At around six feet long, the Giant's Club is by far the biggest weapon in Skyrim, and also one of the funniest. The design fits the intelligence of a Giant perfectly, with the Club consisting only of a big stone tied to the end of a tree trunk.

Absurdity aside, the Giant Club is also a great weapon, with a base damage stat of 60. Unfortunately, you won't be able to take advantage of this yourself — at least not without mods — since the player can't interact with a Giant Club. The only way to witness its power is by bringing a follower with you to pick it up.

You can find a Giant Club in a few locations, but the easiest way to find one is to head to Tumble Arch Pass, a Giant camp west of Windhelm. You'll find the Club on the ridge above the entrance to the dungeon.

2 The Wabbꦗajack

A screenshot showing the Wabbajack, a long staff made of black metal and adorned with grotesquely laughing faces.

The Wabbajack is a Daedric artifact staff that is symbolic of the Sheogorath, the Daedric God of Madness. As you might expect, the god's signature weapon is suitably chaotic. Firing the Wabbajack's magical burst at an enemy produces a random effect out of a huge pool of possibilities.

On any firing, the Wabbajack may decide to burn or electrocute an enemy, turn them into a pile of cheese, or inflict any one of its other hilarious abilities. Despite your lack of control over its effects, the Wabbajack is still a very powerful weapon, as all of its spells hit much harder than you'd expect.

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:You can find the Wabbajack as early as ⭕lev🐎el one, by finding Dervenin roaming the streets of Solitude. Talk to him to initiate his quest, 'The Mind of Madness'. Completing the quest will grant you the Wabbajack as a reward.

1 Fork

A Skyrim Fork in the enchanting menu

The Fork is by far the most unconventional weapon in Skyrim, and also one of the funniest. Despite probably being included in the game as a joke, the Fork has everything you would expect from a normal weapon. Skill buffs apply to it, and it can be enchanted by any enchantment you'd usually equip on a Dagger.

Despite the overall silliness, and the completely useless base stats of the Fork, it's still a viable weapon in the right hands. There are YouTube videos that have popularized challenge runs, in which players complete the entirety of Skyrim with just the Fork.

Forks are rather well hidden for such a silly item, wi𒁏th the most easily accessible found on a secret ledge under a wooden bridge to ꧒the back of High Hrothgar.
