Characters such as Delphine and Paarthurnax will have many i𝕴nteresting things to say to the player and aid them on their quest to save the world from the returning dragons. Overall, the main questline had many different characters that were well-developed, and the following NPCs were extremely well-executed and ful🧜l of personality.

10 Esbern

Esbern is one of Delphine's friends, and fans will first encounter him within the bowels of Riften. Esbern w🐈ill initially seem insane when players encounter him based on the fact that he is in a doomsday bunker of sorts underground.

However, this character actually predicted the Dragon's return before anybody else did, and Delphine didn't even believe him when he first admitted his premonition. Esbern is a fascinating character, and he haꩲs a lot of rich history for players to learn about, he is also very nice towards the .

9 Tsun

Tsun is a God known for creating trials for adventurers to overcome. Tsun may not seem like the most interesting character; however, he is much larger than the player character is, and he is a ghost within Sovngardಌe.

Players will find that Tsun is a difficult opponent to fight and that when looking into his lore further, they will find a powerful God of trials that is rivaled by few other characters within the lore of Skyrim or the Elder Scrolls franchise in general.

8 Farengar Se🐟cret-Fire 💝

Farengar was first introduced when players had to retrieve a stone from Bleak Falls Barrow. He entrusts the player with this task, and although hไe can be somewhat rude towards players, he is actually a sweet guy underneath.

Farengar is relevant for a few quests within the game, however in general, he is mostly a side c💎haracter that is most relevant at the beginning of the main questline. He will also be relevant when players are capturing a dragon within Dragonsreach.

7 Ulfric Stormcloak 𝓀

Every Skyrim player knows Ulfric Stormcloak well, and this is because he was part of the civil war and is the reason that the playeꦜr gets captured in the first place towards the beginning of the game.

Ulfric Stormcloak doesn't have very much relevance in the main story compared to a lot of other characters; however, he is important at first because, as previously mentioned, he is the reason that the player ever gets caught by the Imperials. Ulfric Stormcloak has ups and downs to his personality; however, he is a very interesting character,🍃 and behind the scenes, there is a lot to learn about him.

6 Alduin

Alduin is the main antagonist of the main questline in Skyrim. He iꦏs known as the "World Eater" and he wishes to bring relevance back to the dragons and𝓰 destroy the world as people know it.

Alduin will be the most powerful Dragon𒉰 that fans will have to face during the main questline, and he will encounter the player multiple times. Alduin brought the dꦫragons back, and players need to destroy him during the main questline to save the world.

5 Balgruuf The Greater 🌌

Balgruuf is the Jarl of Whiterun, and players will encoun♑ter him multipl💝e times during their Journey regardless of whether they complete the main quest line or side content.

This Jarl is a great man, and ▨he seems to have many moral reservations about different topics such as the civil war of Skyrim. Balgruuf will task the player with destroying the first Dragon that the Dragonborn needs to fight within the game, and he is relevant to many different side quests for players to complete, including "The Whispering Door."

4 Arngeir

Arngeir is the only human Greybeard that is wiಌlling to speak physically with the player, as such fans will find that this he is one of the only characters from the Greybeard order that is interesting in any way because he will actually have c﷽onversations with the player and train them through using the Thuum.

Arngeir will also give the player quests to find Word Walls after completing the main questline, and he will refuse to speak with the Dragonborn if they kill his leader Paarthurnax. Arngeir is a fascinating char🔯acter all around, and players get to have many different interactions with him throughout the main questline and beyond.

3 Delphine

Delphine is the current master of the blades, and when players first encounter her, she will have tricked them by stealing the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. Delphine is a crafty character, and her personality is sometimes stubborn; however, she is willin🔯g to admit when she is wr𓃲ong.

Delphine is one of, if not the main character, that is not the player during the main quest line because she has so much relevance and is involved with so many different quests. Fans will come to love Delphine, even if she is rude to the Greybeards and has her own reservations about diffe꧙rent things.

2 Odahviing

Odahviing is the first Dragon to comply, not including Paarthurnax, with the Dragonborn, and it will even fly the player to their final quest destination in Skyrim. This c🅠haracter is the first Dragon to seem t♕o have any sort of personality outside of wanting to destroy the world, again not including Paarthurnax.

Odahviing will converse with both the player and their associates within Dragonsreach once being captured and reveal different things that the player may not have already known about the dragons and their way of living. The coolest thing about Odahviing is the fact that players get to ride this Dragon and outside of the Dragonborn expansion pack; 🔥it is the only Dragon that players will ever get the chance to ✃ride.

1 🐬 Paarthurnax ﷽

Paarthurnax is another dragon that will speak with the player and teach them shouts that will be indispensable when dealing with all the evil dragons throughout the land of Skyrim. Fans will come to love Paarthurnax because he is such a wise dragon, and it almost seems as if ﷽h🥀e is a person.

Unfortunately, Paarthurnax is actually relevant to a quest for the Blades that r𝓰equires the player to kill him, and many players chose to do just that. There are also many players, however, that we're not willing to kill this wise old master because he was kind to them upon their first meeting.
