Complete The Missing Merchant Quest
If you don’t want to undergo the harder way of getting Daedric mail armor in Skyrim, there is 𝓡an easier andও quicker way. That option is to complete the Missing Merchant quest.
To begin this quest, you’ll want to make your way over to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm and talk to the innkeeper (either Elda Early-Dawn or Nils if the former dies). Ask them for work, and they will hand you a note that will be labeled as "Missing Merchant" in the book section of the items screen. Read it to discover that the jarl wants someone to investigate the disappearance of a merchant named Gunther Frost-Foot. They were last seen at Traitor’s Post, a ruined cabin located east of Windhelm.
When you arrive, you will find that bandits, led by a woman named Erwan, have occupied the place. Eliminate them to discover that Gunther is dead. Now investigate Erwan’s body and read her journal. You’ll read a messed up story of how she considered Gunther’s body to be her best pal, but she’ll also describe how she sold a suit of Daedric mail armor to a traveling Khajiit merchant named Ma’dran. Erwan 🍸sai🌼d that a ring would make for a great trade for the armor.
That ring is the Ring of Masser, which is on Gunther’s body. Retrieve it and then try to track down Ma’dran and his caravan. They don’t tend to stay in one place, as the quest marker will reveal, but it can be found anywhere between the roads to Windhelm and Solitude.
Once you catch up to Ma’dran, talk to him and say you’re interested in buying the armor. After that, you have the option of either giving him the Ring of Masser or paying 5,000 gold if you want to keep the ring. He will thank you for your business and th🐓e armor is now youꦺrs to wear.
