Although the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragonborn is a main focus of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and is presented as a being that doesn't come around all that often, there have been several Dragonborn in the past that have played large roles in the hist🙈ory of Tamriel. While the Last Dragonborn may be the most notable, they are certainly not the only one.
The history of the Dragonborn dates back all the way to the First Era, with some people claiming that a Dragonborn has divine right to rule as dictated by Akatosh, while others think that the power of the Thu'um was a gift from Kynareth, or Kyne in the case of th✨🌱e Nords, instead.
8 Saint Al𝕴essia
The first known Dragonborn in Elder Scrolls lore, Saint Alessia was a Nede, a precursor to the races of men, who was instrumental in ending humanity's enslavement by the Ayleids, the precursors to the modern-day elven races. Most notably, Alessia founded the Cyrodiilic Empire and became the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Empress of Cyrodiil, as well as beginning the trend among men to worship the, at the time, Eight Divines. Although she hasn't been described as displaying the powers of a Dragonborn, she did initiate the deal with Akatosh to keep the door to Oblivion shut in exchange for her right to rule, with her ancestors going on to💦 form the Septim Dynasty.
7 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ Reman Cyrodiil
Yet another her who fought against the elven oppression over 2000 years after Alessia gained humanity's freedom, Reman Cyrodiil was yet another Dragonborn who ♊didn't display the usual powers associated with them but was a great hero in his time regardless⭕.
Most notably, Reman began the tradition of lighting the dragonfires as a rite of passage for crowning new emperors, a tradition that would carry on well into the Third Era and end with the assassination of Uriel Septim, the death of Martin Septim, and the Oblivion Crisis that occurred during 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
6 ﷽ Mankar Camoran
Although Mankan Camoran is mostly known for his villainous role in the events of the Oblivion Crisis, being the leader of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mythic Dawn responsible for Mehrunes Dagon's inva♓sion of Tamriel, he was, in fact, a Dragonborn. Mankar is never explicitly stated to be of Dragonborn descent, but there are several key factors that imply that he is a Dragonborn regardless. Most notably, he was able to wear the Amulet of Kings without dying, a feat that should only be possible for those descended from Alessia, while he also described being able to speak a new language and, after a few days, could "speak fire".
5 Wulfharth
Wulfharth had a deep impact on the people of Skyrim, with his ability to use the Thu'um being so powerful that he wasn't able to take the ꧋Oath of Allegiance, the rite that allowed him to become king, verbally. Wulfharth may be best known by his other name, Ysmir, a title that waℱs also passed on to Tiber Septim and, in the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, to the player character and the Last Dragonborn.
4 Martin Septim 🌠 💛
The last known Dragonborn before the events of Skryim, Martin Septim, like many before him, didn't display the inherent abilities to use the Thu'um or speak in the dragon's language. However, as the illegitimate son of Uriel Septim, he was able to display some level of power that few other Dragonborn had shown, such as sacrificing his body to become the vessel for Akatosh to fight Meh🐭runes Dagon.
With Martin Septim's death, the Se꧒ptim Dynasty ended and resulted in the Dragonborn ability only being granted by those who were gifted by the gods, rather than an inherent trait that is sometimes passed down through the generations.
3 Tib🃏er Septim ඣ
One of the most notable Dragonborns in all of Tamriel's history, Tiber Septim, also known as the man-god Talos to the Nords, united the kingdoms of Tamriel under his banner and began the Third Era with his rule. While his feats as a ruler and warrior are impressive, as well as being recognized as Ysmir by the Greybeards, his greatest feat to date is his accession to godhood, something that few other mortal beings have been able to ﷺpull off without the assistance of questionable magic or the help of the gods.
2 Miraak
The First Dragonborn, Miraak was present during the Merethic Era, and the battle against Alduin that resulted in the Dragon Break that sent him through time to the Fourth Era several thousand years later. While Miraak may have been able to stop Alduin permanently at the time, he had other plans and refused to fight alongside Hakon, Gormalith, and Felldir before later being killed by Vahlok the Jailor, a very powerful Dragon Priest. Although he ꦿreturned through the help of Hermaeus Mora, he would be defeated by the player character in the Dragonborn DLC of Skyrim, proving once and for all who the most powerful Dragonborn really is.
1 The Last ✃Dragonborn
As powerful as Miraak was, with him being able to suck the souls from still living dragons and being able to steal the souls from dragons killed by the player over great distances, he was still no match for the Last Dragonborn. While their lineage is up to the player's discretion, it is implied that they were a Nord that was granted the powers of the Dragonborn by the gods in order to defeat Alduin and keep him from eating the world. Although Alduin's sole purpose in life is to devour the universe so that it can be reborn, an event that is implied to have happened several times in the history of the El💯der Scrolls, his iteration in Skyrim was much more focused on gaining power rather than following the cycle of life and rebirth, resulting in him needing to be destroyed.
