The Ebony Warrior is one of the most infamous NPCs in Skyrim. This character will challenge any player that is level 80 or higher in hopes of clashing swords with a worthy opponent. One of the toughest encounters you'll face is the Ebony Warrior, a high-level Redguard with virtually every perk in the game. To make this fight a little bit easier, we've updated this guide to include additional strategies for defeat the Ebony Warrior.
Where Is The Ebony Warrior?
The Ebony Warrior will appear in any major city (Whiterun, Solitude, etc.) once your character reaches level 80, one level shy of Skyrim's original level cap. Enter any major city and a large NPC in full Ebony gear will speak with you, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:demanding an ultimate final fight against you.
If you cannot find the Ebony Warrior, try▨ looking at the following locations:
- Whiterun: right after you enter the city. He should be near the Warmaiden's store.
- Falkreath: just outside the city gates on the southern end of town.
- Solitude: near the Hall of the Dead.
- Markarth: he will be standing outside of The Warrens.
- Riften: right next to Balimund's forge at The Scorched Hammer.
- Windhelm: he should be standing near Candlehearth Hall.
Once the Ebony Warrior has been spoken to, a miscellaneous quest named "Ebony Warrior" will appear on your screen, leading you to a location named Last Vigil. It i🦩s here where you will face the Ebony Warrior in combat.
How To Beat The Ebony Warrior
Before you face the Ebony Warrior in battle, it is important to know just how powerful he is. This NPC has 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a wide range of strong perks, a rather large health 🐬pool, anꦺd some rather strong enchantments on his gear.

If it wasn't apparent from his stats, the Ebony Warrior has a massive amount of damage resistance against elemental damage. While blocking, he takes 75% less elemental damage. This makes defeating him by using spells somewhat difficult. The Ebony Warrior will also use the Disarm Shout if you stay ne🔯ar him.
Strategy #1: Stealth
This boss is extremely susceptible to stealth. The Last Vigil is a rather spacious arena, allowing you to reposition and take him down with arrows from a distance. Crouch, hit him with an arrow, retreat until the Ebony Warrior's attention resets, then repeat.
If you want a faster and more humorous way of killing the Ebony Warrior, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:steal his items. If you have the Perfect Touch perk in the Pickpocket tree, you can take the Ebony Warrior's armor and weapons before the fight even starts. This will remove virtually all of his damage resistance, making this fight much easier.
Strategy #2: Shouting
If your gear isn't strong enough to fight the Ebony Warrior, 168澳洲幸运5▨开奖网:the Unrelenting Force Shout works well against him. A cliffside exists in the arena that you can fling the Ebony🌜 Warrior off of, deali♏ng massive ragdoll damage to him. Make sure you damage him before he gets back up or the fall damage will be negated. Repeat this as needed to kill him.
Strategy #3: Crafting
For a more direct approach, upgrade your weapons and armor as much as possible through Smithing 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:and Enchanting🧸. 🥂Get your crafting professions to rank 100, grab any perks that enhance the strength of items you make, then reinforce your weapons and armor to Legendary status. From there, apply two enchantments to each of your items.

Armor enchantments will depend heavily on your build. With a hard-hitting weapon and high-ranking armor, you should be able to tank the Ebony Warrior's onslaught of blows while dealing a good bit of damage to him.
Strategy #4: Jarrin Root Poison
When you get near the end of the Dark Brotherhood quest chain, you'll be given an Alchemy ingredient called Jarrin Root. This item deals 200 damage to you when consumed, although its real strength is being able to combine with other poisonous ingredients to create the strongest poison in Skyrim. When combined with other ingredients with the "Damage Health" effect, you can craft a poison that deals 6,000+ damage instantly.
If you still have this ingredient, craft the strongest poison you can. Apply it to your choice of weapon, the hit the Ebony Warrior with it. If your Alchemy skill is high enough, this poison should instantly kill the Ebony Warrior.
Strategy #5: Magic
Using any close-range weapons against the Ebony Warrior is extremely dangerous. He can disarm you, use Unrelenting Force, and can even reflect damage towards you. Fortunately, he can't reflect spells.
Destruction and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Conjuration spells are useful for fighting the Ebony Warrior. Conjuration spells allow you to summon one or two minions to draw his attention while you pelt at the Ebony Warrior from a distance with your Destruction spells. He is fairly resistant to magic, so this strategy will take slightly longer than the others on this list. Still, if you don't want to risk getting killed by reflected damage, this is a safe way of fighting the Ebony Warrior.
