Some Court Wizards might just reinforce the negative stereotypes about magic users, some may be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:even worse than that,ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ but not all are unpleasant people at heart. A few are genuinely noble individuals, and even a few of the more aloof ones have h🍸idden depths.
6 🐷 Farengar Secret-Fire 🦄
A man with a long chin and a big ego, Farengar Secret-Fire serves as the court wizard for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Jarl Balgruuf of Whiterun, and is quite likely to be the first you encounter in your playthrough. His actions, as a whole are quite helpful to you, given that it is Farengar who sends you to Bleak Falls Barrow and gets you started in the main quest line, but it's not something handled with especially good grace. In general Farengar seems to consider himself the smartest man in the room, and most tasks to be beneath him.
His ego is cut short a little by the dragon Odahviing. While the creature is bound up in Dragonsreach, Farengar attempts to take some scales or blood in the 'interests of advancement of knowledge', noting that it would be 'hardly painful at all to a large dragon'. Odahviing does not take kindly to this, and shoots a jet of flame into the air, something that sends the mage running for cover. Serves him right.
5 ♛ 𒁃 Sibille Stentor
Long-lived, competent, and possibly extremely evil, Sibille Stentor is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Court Wizard of Solitude. She serves Elisif the Fair, having served High King Torygg before her, and Torygg's father Istlod before him. When questioned about it, she will simply insist that she has 'aged well'. Her eyes, however, show the real secret behind her eternal youth. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sibille is a vampire. All evidence points to the idea that she does not abstain from the activities common to her kind, either. Several NPCs in Solitude will hint that Sibille takes prisoners from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Castle Dour dungeons, and that they do not return. Strangely enough, a quest granted by Sibille involves dispatching a group of vampires holed up in Pinemoon Cave. Why a vampire would be sending adventurers after her own kind is something that can only be speculated on. Perhaps this bloodsucking wizard just doesn't like the competition for prey.
4 Calcelmo
This grumpy old elf resides in Understone Keep and has seemingly one interest: the Dwemer. Calcelmo studies the Dwarven civilisation, and seems to find most other things in his life an unnecessary nuisance. He is outright rude much of the time when spoken to, displeased at being taken away from his research for a moment. From time to time, the Dragonborn may receive a letter from the man, offering to buy a certain Dwemer item for an inflated price, though it's rarely enough to be worth 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a special trip to Markarth. He also charges you with killing a huge spider in the Nchuand-Zel excavations, though the reward is underwhelming, you get to look around his museum. Chances are you're going to end up stealing things from it, which will make it worthwhile, but it's not like he knew it at the time.
Despite his unpleasant demeanour, Calcelmo does apparently have room in his heart for more tender feelings. In the quest 'The Book Of Love' you are charged with helping him approach Faleen, a Redguard Housecarl inside the Keep. You have to help him fake writing a poem, but still, he is at least trying.
3 🥃 Wuunfreth the Unliving 🐽
Poor old Wuunfreth. It can't be too easy being a mage in the Stormcloak capital, especially when people think you're a serial killer. Wuunfreth the Unliving is the Court Wizard of Windhelm, serving under Ulfric Stormcloak. He's usually up in his study, pawing over his enchanting table. Other events in the city may end up leading you to him, as the quest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:'Blood On The Ice' sees 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Calixto Corrium attempt to accus♏e him of being a secret necromancer, responsible for several killings in the city. It is even possible to get Wuunfreth arrested, and thrown into prison whilst investigating the crime.
Unfortunately for you, and even moreso for the women of Windhelm, Wuunfreth is innocent, and the killer will continue to strike. Despite being framed for murder, the old man is gracious enough to assist in the investigation, and will give some vital clues as to how to catch the killer. You can't say he's not a good sport.
2 Wylaওndriah🐠
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Southern dock town of Riften is a place full of sharp-minded schemers and hardened criminals. Then there is Wylandriah, the Jarl's court wizard, who had lost her favourite spoon. Wylindriah is a bosmer mage who resides in Mistveil Keep. She appears to be a little distracted. That is, she is sufficiently absorbed in her work that she tends to forget where she's left things, what she's talking about, and who people are. On the upside, while other wizards might talk down to you, Wylandriah quickly begins to assume that the Dragonborn is a fountain of knowledge on cutting-edge summoning techniques, regardless of what random ideas they throw into the conversation.
She will also send the Dragonborn out on a miscellaneous quest to find various items she's left lying around Skyrim. These are her spoon, an ingot, and a soul gem. Given when bouncing around ideas with her you can advise her to try eating a soul gem, it's a little concerning. Hopefully that is not what she wants the gem for.
1 Madena
Madena, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Court Wizard of Dawnstar, is a woman who has seen some things. A former Imperial battle mage, she fought the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Aldmeri Dominion in the Great War. What took place there, and the things that she did with destruction magic, horrified Madena, and led her to take an oath against using her magic to kill ever again. She takes this oath extremely seriously, and it often brings her into conflict with her own Jarl. Jarl Skald, an old man with big dreams of death and glory, frequently becomes angry and frustrated at Madena's resistance to unleashing her deadly spells on the Legion.
This isn't all that is worrying the Breton woman. She also has to contend with Silus Vesuius and his 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:commemoration of the Mythic Dawn in his museum, something Madena is staunchly against, and can be seen informing Silus of outside the establishment. While she will no longer use 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the destruction school, Madena is keen to use her powers to help the people, healing the locals and aiding with problem crops. It's refreshing to see someone genuinely only motivated by a wish to aid others.
