Players will be able to pick a topic regarding one of three ancient cultures found in Skyrim &nཧdash; Dwemer, Falmer, and Ancient Nords – and research them in order to write a thesis on them. The leveling mechanics are centered around writing better books and becoming a master scholar. "You can write better books through research!" the mod's description page reads. "Research takes many forms, studying in the Arcaneum, collaborating with fellow scholars or exploring in a ruin relevant to what your topic is".
Mod users can conduct more research to boost Writing Level which in turn leads to a better book (as you would expect). However, new academics shouldn't expect to produce a great book from the off, but the more finished works produced the higher your Scholarship Level.
