Necromancy is a possibility for any mage in Skyrim, but it doesn't feel like it gets the in-depth mechanics that it deserves. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:It's officially a sub-school of Conjuration, so all of your skills that raise people from the dead are thrown in with th♈e ones that summon weapons or other kinds of familiars.

Thankfully, the modding community has come to the rescue. Dedicated fans have spent years since Skyrim's release creating free mods and posting them online to improve your necromancy experience. You don't have to use any of them to just be a necromancer, but we think you'll agree that it's a lot more fun to have them!

6 NPCs React To Necromancy (And More) 🍸

Skyrim - NPCs react to necromancy mod, guard upset about necromancy

For those who want an immersive, realistic experience as a necromancer, it probably feels weird when you walk into town with a skeleton at your side and nobody so much as bats an eye. Thankfully, you aren't the only one who noticed this. One modder developed the NPCs React To Necromancy (And More) mod that causes non-magical NPCs to become upset or disgusted by necromancy.

If you want, you can enable the possibility of consequences for your actions, too! It's totally optional but, when enabled, it means that there's a possibility your relationship with an NPC will deteriorate as a result of your dark habit. Some guards migh🧸t even attempt🎃 to arrest you, especially if you provoke them.

5 🎶 Reusable Corpses For Necromancy 💛

Skyrim - no ash piles mod, corpse next to a dog

In vanilla Skyrim, the corpses you've brought back to life eventually expire. At that time, they turn to dust. To be fair, the dust is a useful ingredient, but it's a bit annoying to keep finding new people to bring back from the dead. Besides, you might have a particularly strong minion that you want to keep around for longer than a spell will allow!

This mod is calling your name. The Reusable Corpses For Necromancy mod eliminates the mechanic where corpses collapse into a dusty heap when they ex✃pire. Instead, the corpse just flops back down to the ground, ready to be reanimated again.

4 Tirashan

Skyrim - Tirashan mod, home interior with crafting table and hearth

A true necromancer is a recluse. The outside world doesn't understand your dark and mysterious craft. You need a place far from the prying eyes of those who would judge, report, or attack you! Su🍸re, there are player homes to choose from in vanilla Skyrim, but none of them manage to summon the darkness in your heart and put it into the decor.

Thankfully, one modder developed Tirashan, a bubble world in Oblivion where you can perform your experiments in peace. The creator is an environment artist who wanted something that wasn't "full of dead bodies and gore." This pretty much takes DIY to the next level. You'll find a home for you to sleep, craft, and store items in, a garden for you to grow magical ingredients, and your own Dremora merchant. As the cherry on top, there's also a pretty expansive and spooky forest that surrounds the house.

3 Corpse P♊reparation 🌼

Skyrim - Corpse Preparation mod, mummy on a table

Ever felt like necromancy could be a little more like crafting? The Corpse Preparation mod agrees. It allows you to pick up the corpses of your enemies, take them to an altar, then use your magic and the ingredients you've collected to create your undead servants. The more powerful you are, the more powerful your resulting creature.

The creator of this mod was careful to keep it friendly to the lore of The Elder Scrolls universe. For example, Arkay is one of the Nine Divines and "the God of the Cycle of Birth and Death." Consequently, he doesn't like necromancy in any form. After creating your first minion through the mod, you won't be able to receive Arkay's blessing anymore by praying at his altar or statue.

2 𓆏 Teleport Thralls 💧

Skyrim - teleport thralls mod, image of thralls coming through a portal

This mod was created by a fan because, in their words: "My stupid thralls are missing half of the fights, always far behind or Arkay knows where." While all follower⛦s will teleport to meet you wherever you go (as long as they're alive), your thralls as a necromancer don't offer the same courtesy.

With the Teleport Thralls mod, you can teleport selected Thralls through the world with you at ease. In fact, it should work on any non-hostile summoned or raised creature! So, if you're travelling with a necromancer for a companion, you can bring their raised corpses along as well.

1 🥂 Psikotics Necromancy 𒆙

Skyrim - skeletons fighting a dragon

The Psikotics Necromancy mod is probably the most popular overhaul of how the necromancy mechanics work in Skyrim. An incredible amount of content is added to your playthrough, including spells, minions, Conjuration perks, effects, and more. The mod prides itself on its customizability; no two necromancers need to specialize in the same area, and you're bound to have a one-of-a-kind experience.

If all that wasn't enough, Psikotics Necromancy also includes a new area to explore and a necromancy-themed quest line to follow! The Defiled Sanctum is the long-abandoned lair of a powerful necromancer, and it seems to 🌠be calling to you... If you see it all the way to the end, it becomes a fully-realized player home!
