There are a lot of jobs out there in Skyrim. In an average wander through any of the holds, you can see farmers, miners, mercenaries and guards. There are even some more exciting roles out there, such as thieves, mages, assassins. The Dragonborn themselves will probably wind up taking numerous careers while avoiding the pressing issues of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the dragons' return.
Not everyone in certain careers are particularly good at them, however. Whether they’re obviously unskilled, or the deeper issues with their performance only really become clear on closer inspection, there are a few NPCs out there who really don't seem like the best person for their job.
10 🃏 Jarl Idgrod Ravencrone - Seer
Jarl Idgrod is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:ruler of Hjaalmarch, though it's not necessarily the ruling part that it's easy to take issue with. Jarl Idgrod is also reputedly clairvoyant, and apparently relies on visions conveyed to her by the Divines.
For a reputedly psychic Jarl, Idgrod appears to trust a far greater than average number of shady people. Her own Housecarl, Gorm is sending word to Castle Dour to have her overthrown as ruler, and she is apparently none the wiser. She is also surprised168澳洲幸运5开奖网: in the quest Laid To Rest, when it is revealed that Alva is a vampire and responsible for the death of Hroggar's family. The woman whom Hroggar became weirdly infatuated with, moved in immediately after his family were killed, and who is strangely absent during the day. You didn't have to be psychic to figure who was involved there.
9 ཧ ൲ Vex - Master Thief
When you join 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Skyrim's Thieves' Guild, you are directed to Delvin and Vex as potential sources for extra work. Delvin seems a little surly, but generally personable. The same can't really be said for Vex, whose first act is to inform you that she's the best infiltrator in the Thieves Guild and that you had better get used to that. She then proceeds to hang out in the pub for the rest of the questline.
It's mentioned that she wasn[t able to get into Goldenglow Estate, something that is a fairly early job for you. She does at least provide useful info, quests, and training, so she does pull her weight in the Guild, but she's not selling being a master thief very well.
8 🌄 Lurbuk - Bard
There's not a lot of debate regarding the skills of Lurbuk. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:He is an orsimer with musical aspirations. While he has the ambition, he's lacking in the skill, and has been billed as the worst bard in Skyrim. He's only allowed to perform because his venue of choice,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the Moorside Inn, is so deserted that hardly anyone hears him.
He even becomes a potential target for assassination later, possibly ultimately proving himself to be such a terrible performer than someone was literally prepared to do the Black Sacrament to have him murdered. That's kind of impressive.
7 Elenwen - Ambassador 𝄹
Elenwen is the First Emissary of the Aldmeri Dominion in Skyrim. As the most seniour168澳洲幸运5开奖网: representative of the Thalmor in the Kingdom, s♓h🍸e states that her job is to try and ensure good relations between the human and elven kingdoms. She is doing a terrible job.
While Elenwen is very concerned with h๊olding lavish parties to entertain Jarls and other important people, she doesn't seem too concerned with the potential publicity hit of her organisation doing openly evil things. Stocking up with very expensive brandy feels like a bit of a moot point when your agents are trying to steal ancient super-weapons in front of the entire College of Winterhold, and strolling around the throne room of Understone Keep, talking about how they can't wait for the Empire to be destroyed.
6 🥂 Calcelmo - Researcher 🎐
Calcelmo is the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Court Wizard of Markarth, and resides in Understone Keep, and considers himself an expert on the Dwemer. Weirdly though, while he seems quite sure he's an expert on the subject, he seems less exposed to it than you. His letters seem to imply he finds things like Dwarven arrows and weapons, that you pick up all over the place, vital artefacts.
He is sitting on top of a vast Dwemer ruin, but is very hesitant to actually go in. He doesn't mind other people going in and indeed seems alarmingly casual when talking about how many guards have been killed by Dwarven Centurions. Worst of all, when you actually need some scholarly help, he won't assist because he doesn't want to share his discoveries, forcing you to steal them.
5 🔴 Heimskr - Priest Of Talos
Heimskr 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:lives in Whiterun, and he's very keen on Talos. You may have noticed. He is, indeed so eager to talk about 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:how brilliant Talos is that he spends most of his day shouting about it outside in the square. While his intentions are clearly to try and convert more people to the worship of⭕ the man-turned-god, it seems to have the opposite effect on most players.
If there was any compelling reason to have Whiterun become an Imperial city, it's in hope of getting a break from the shouting.
4 ꦺ Nazeem - Advisor T𝔉o The Jarl
Nazeem is not a popular man. Possibly one of the most disliked NPCs out there, he is🌼 constantly talking himself up as an important man. He likes to boast to anyone who will listen about his status as an advisor to Jarl Balgruuf. If this is true, and not something he is lying about, Nazeem has 🔥not been to work in months.
He never goes to Dragonsreach. He will loiter around the market during the day, and drink in the Drunken Huntsman in the evening. He also claims to own Chillfurrow Farm, but he never goes there either. It seems like being rude to people is Nazeem's full-time job.
3 🌞 Vigilant Tyranus💟 - Hunter Of Daedra
Vigilant Tyranus can be found outside the Abandoned House in Markarth. One of the Vigilants Of Stendarr, his work involved 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:rooting out Daedra worship𝄹. He believes there to ওbe something suspicious about the place, and asks for help investigating. Unfortunately, it turns out that Tyranus is right.
Venturing inside things take a frightening turn, and it's revealed that the place is a centre of worship for the Daedric Prince, Molag Bal. Tyranus, less stoic than you'd hope a Vigilant would be, bolts for the door immediately. When it doesn't open, it quickly becomes obvious that Molag Bal is trying to turn you and Tyranus on one another. Even if you resist this, Tyranus absolutely will not, and you are forced to kill him in self-defence. For an apparent Daedra hunter, he started obeying them extremely quickly.
2 🍷 Sabjorn - Meadery ✤Owner
Sabjorn is a business owner who you're most likely to run into while attempting the Thieves' Guild quest 'Dampened Spirits'. Maven Black-Briar asks you to sabotage his established,🅠 The Honningbrew Meadery.
While poisoning the mead is a pretty underhand thing to do, breaking in reveals a lot of evidence that the man was not really running it so well to begin with. It's full of skeevers. There's a hole in the cellar wall leading to an entire cave system, and there's a mad, rat-training wizard living down there, plotting to take over Skyrim. He does ask you to take care of the skeever issue, but only knowing the captain of the Whiterun Guard is coming to taste it.
1 ꧟ ꩵ Esbern and Delphine - Dragon Hunters
Two individuals that you will meet in the course of the main questline, Esbern and Delphine initially play a huge role in helping you on 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:a quest to slay Alduin — members of The Blades, an organisation of dragon-hunters-turned-bodyguards to the Emperor, outlawed after the Great War. They resume their former duties, and assist in trying to combat the threat of dragons in Skyrim. That is, unless you refuse to kill a particular dragon. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paathurnax, secret head of the Greyb💦eards, one of your mentors.
They wish the friendly dragon to be eliminated with the rest of his kind, though, paradoxically, will be less interested in assist💯ing you wi🍨th killing the actively dangerous dragons if you do not do so. Weird priorities.
