The world of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has one of the best open worlds to explore in any game, let alone an . Bethesda made sure that the world of Skyrim was filled with beautiful vistas and a wide arrange of towns and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:cities to explore. Perhaps the biggest🧸 city to stand out amo༒ng them though is the city of Solitude.
Solitude stands out the most when compared to the other cities in Skyrim with its unique architecture and bridge. There are a lot of things in the city, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:like a number of quests that one could easily miss their first time through. Here are 10 th🌟ings that mo🎃st players may have missed in Solitude.
10 The Bards College 💖
Bards are a big part of any fantasy lore so it is not a surpris🌄e that there are a few bards within Skyrim that mention of the Bards College. The college itself can be found just before 🍰the bridge crossing to the Blue Palace.
The player can join the college and start a small questline that involves becoming a licensed bard. Unfortunat✤ely though, there is not much that can ꧃be done as a bard without modding.
9 Architecture Highlights Its🐎 Close Ties To The Empire
It is pretty obvious from when the player first enters Solitude that the city has close ties to the Empire. It is their headquarters during 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Civil War questline. But this can also be noted in t🅷hඣe appearance of the city's buildings.
The buildings bear more of a resemblance to the cities of Cyrodiil, the setting of Oblivion and where the Empire's capital city can be found, than that of Skyrim's other cities. It is a nice breath of familiarit💜y for veterans of that game.
8 NPCs Can Enter T✅he City's Sewer Manholes ☂
A number of sewer manholes can be found on the ground throughout Solitude though the player c☂annot en♓ter the city's sewer this way. Despite this though, NPCs such as the guards can though.
It makes sense that✨ guards would go down here on patrol but it does not make any sense that the player cannot though. There are mods that enable the manholes to be opened though.
7 The Dark Brotherhood꧙ & Stormcloak Questlines Will Not Interrupt Each Other
Solitude is where the final battle in the Stormcloak side of the Civil War questline is set. It is also where the player can assassinate the emperor in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Dark Brotherhood questline. This would obviously create problems should both quests go on at🎃 the same time and the developers saw this as well.
To fix the issue should the player accept the quest, "To Kill An Emperor", while not launching the assault on Solitude, Ulfric Stormcloak will tell the player to wait. He will say he fears attacking Solitude while the emperor is around will anger the rest of the empire and draw them into the Imperial forces outside of Skyrim. On the flip side,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: the Dark Brotherhood members will urge them 💜to finish their Stormcloak business before assassinating the emperor.
6 The ♓Best Place To Farm Arrows
A glitch in the game allows the player to farm any number of a certain arrow themselves by pickpocketing a sleeping guard's arrows at night and placing a more powerful arrow💛 in their place.
Solitude, specifically outside of Castle Dour, is the best place to do ꦕthis due to the arrow practice﷽ range that guards use during the daytime. Performing the glitch here and waiting until morning will make the guard fire an unlimited amount of the placed arrows. This is the best way to get arrows without mods.
5 Bryling and Falk Firebeard Are Secret Lo𓆉ওvers
Bryling is one of the thanes to Jarl Elisif The Fai♔r while Falk Firebeard is the latter's steward. If the player does some investigating, they can discover that Bryling and Falk are secret lovers.
The reason for this is that such relationships betw✤een workers for the jarl are forbidden, hence the secrecy. When the Civil War questline is completed, Falk will come clean about the relationship and try to step down from his role as steward
4 Elisif Can Be A Distraction During Diplomatic Immunity 🐲
In the "Diplomatic Immunity" quest for the main story, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Dragonborn will have to infiltrate a party hosted by the Thalmor at their embassy just outside of Solitude to investigate their connection to the resurgence of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dragons in Skyrim. They will have to ask someone to make a distraction for them and Solitude's jarl, Elisif The Fai🥃r, can be this distraction should the Dragonborn do some favors beforehand.
The distraction involves her accusing an East Empire Trading Company employee, Razeland, of defying her authority which causes a scene. She does this believing it to be asked to do it as joke to someone 𝔍else. If only she knew the truth?
3 An Elder Scro🎶lls II: Daggerfall Character Can Get Referenced ജ
The Daedric quest, "The Mind Of Madness", can be found in Solitude which involves encountering the Daedric prince of madness, Sheogorath. During this quest, there is a chance 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Daedric lord will reference the ghost of King Lysandus. He ꧃ﷺwas a major character in the Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall.
In that game, he was king of Daggerfall who was murdered and tried to raise a spectral army to seek revenge. That game's main character eventually avenges the mur♔der, thus finally allowing Lysandus's spirit to rest in peace. Newer fans might have missed this reference and is a cool nod to the series' past.
2 ♛ Jarls Sympathetic To The Empire Will Flee To The Blue Palace
After the player helps the player conquer a city and/or hold with the Stormcloaks, those areas receive new jarls. 𓂃But what happens to the previous jarls, such as Balgruf of Whiterun?
These jarls will flee to the Blue Palace in Solitude where they will spend the rest of the game basically sulking about. The same thing happens should the player side with the E🦩mpire but those jarls instead flee to Windhelm.
1 🍰 Captain Aldis Will React To A Player Wearing Stormcloak Armor
Captain Aldis is the captain of the city guard who helps train the city's guards in the aforementioned Castle Dour. He is normally pretty friendly with the player but that changes when they wear Stormcloak armor and talk ♏to him.
He has a negative reaction and will question why they are dressed like a "damn Stormcloak ⛄traitor". He will either warn the player if they say they meant nothing by it, or put a 40 gold bounty on them and attack them should they voice 🌃support for the Stormcloak cause. Do not talk politics with this guy.
