The latest case of a Skyrim player coming across a new mechanic . Redditor nuclear_bubble posted a picture on the subreddit saying that they'd found something brand new in Skyrim that they'd never seen before, "spiders that you can throw at people".

The post instantly caught the attention of the whole subreddit, with some Redditors saying that they'd never seen the feature before either and others saying that they've known about it for years. One commenter said, "So they liked the idea of making grenades from fallout, and then made them fantasy... I have 3000 hours and never knew this", whilst another said, "lol anybody who says I know everything and done everything in Skyrim is a liar. There’s ALWAYS something new to discover or something new to do."

In the case of Spider Scrolls, there's actually a pretty good chance that many Skyrim players wouldn't have come across the mechanic as it is exclusive to the Dragonborn DLC pack. Still, considering Skyrim is one of the most popular games of all time, it's still surprising that all of its features aren't so widely known.

For those who don't know what Spider Scrolls are, they're a mechanic that was introduced in the Dragonborn DLC that can only be accessed on the Solstheim island. Once you received a recipe that tells you how to craft the Spider Scrolls, you'll be able to combine gems with spider pods to create what are essentially spider grenades to throw at your enemies.
