It's hard to deny that the NPCs of Skyrim are weird. They have a few quirks, they are too willing to share their problems with random strangers, and they'll get into brawls over a hat you dropped in the marketplace. These peculiar people deserve some credit, though.

While many games' NPCs are quest-dispensing mannequins that exist as a stepping stone to your next level-up, the Northern Kingdom's people have their things going on, and they are surprisingly aware of what is happening around them. People in the area will pick up a lot of your behaviour, and generally, they're not amused by your nonsense.

10 Nakedness

The people of Skyrim are quite traditional folks, and they don't entirely approve of people strolling around the town square in their underwear. If you unequip all of your clothing and go wandering in a built-up area, you're likely to get several civilians telling you to put some clothes on.

Some attempt to be polite and advise you that you might have forgotten to put your clothes on before leaving the house. Other people end up muttering to their friends about what a shameless exhibitionist you are. Well, if you've got it, flaunt it.

9 Sickness

Skyrim Skeever Inside A House

Spending your time wrestling bears and crawling through skeever-infested tunnels has its drawbacks. Your Dragonborn ❀is at risk of picking up a few of the diseases floating around Skyrim.

In the heat of battle, it's quite easy to forget about the notification of contracting an illness, and if you don't check your active effects frequently, it's possible to forget and just wonder why you're not performing so well. Fortunately, NPCs will tell you that you're looking slightly off-colour. This extends to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:curses like vampirism and lycanthropy, though a quick trip to the nearest shrine might🐲 not get rid of t💛hose.

8 Fire

NPCs are, perhaps rightfully, concerned when they see an adventurer walking around with an open flame. If you run into people whilst holding a torch or with a fiery spell active in your hands, they may notice. Your blaze is likely to get some concerned remarks or guards asking you what you plan to do with that fire. Given they're often carrying torches, it seems a little hypocritical. Some people just seem pleased at the warmth, which given the climate, is understandable.

7 ♛ ꦦ Pretty Magic

Pretty spells, like candlelight or bound weapons, get a bit of NPC attention. A few people will remark on how pretty they are. The local children may also take note for other reasons. On seeing your magic, a child character may approach you and ask for your help, given that you're clearly a wizard.

They want you to make them invisible. You can say you can't do that, or you can lie and tell them that you did, and no one can see them. Lying results in them running around pretending to be a ghost, something the adults will apparently just tolerate. Maybe they don't want to burst the kid's bubble.

6 🃏 Brandishing Weapons ꩵ

Skyrim Dawnbreaker Sword dual wielding with another weapon

Skyrim is a dangerous place. Most people you run into are likely to be armed in one way or another. That doesn't necessarily mean that NPCs approve of reckless weapon usage. Walking around with your weapon drawn will attract some comments. Male guards give perhaps some telling insight into their personal lives, and they admit it makes them nervous seeing a female character approaching with a weapon drawn.

Waving your sword around in an occupied area will sometimes provoke a telling-off, with citizens firmly telling you to swing your blade around somewhere else. They'd probably prefer you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:swinging it into a dragon.

5 🐈 Being Out Too La👍te

While most of the sensible citizens of Skyrim take to their homes after dark or go for a few rounds of mead in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the taverns, the guards are still stuck pa🎃trolling a൲fter the sun has gone down

If you're wandering about cities at night, they may see you and react with suspicion. One may remark '"Only burglars and vampires lurk around after dark, so which one are you?" Awkward if you are actually are a burglar or a vampire, even moreso if you're both. Just keep on walking and don't give too much away.

4 Dead Bodies 🌼

While some bandits are willing to dismiss the arrow in their friend's eye as a trick of the weather, not everyone is quite as calm around a murder scene. If someone is killed in a built-up area, and their corpse is left lying in the open, passing NPCs are likely to notice it.

Some immediately panic and run away; some draw their weapon and start looking around for a perpetrator. The generic dialogue will often continue, however, so don't be too shocked if someone is still 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:trying to sell horker steaks nearby.

3 College Of W🦩interhold Robes

168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Most Nords are a little mistrustful of magic, and as such, it's mainly relegated to being taught 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:within the College of Winterhold. Despite ♎this natural suspicion, wearing some of the college robes attracts a decent amount of attention from passers-by.

Most people are quite curious about whether you're a wizard, some recognize the college design and ask about that. A few people are less flattering, and accuse you of stealing them off a 'real wizard'. To be fair, it's quite possible that you did.

2 𒆙 Eyeing Valuables

While a lot of the NPCs out there are relatively easily outwitted as far as relieving them of their valuables goes, they're not completely stupid. If you're too brazen about your window shopping, they might call you out on it.

Hovering too long over a locked cabinet might cause them to get suspicious of your intentions. They may tell you, in a not very friendly way, that "It's locked for a reason." Unfortunately for them, it's Skyrim, so you can just drop a bucket on their head and carry on looting.

1 Brawling

The player brawling with Cosnach in Skyrim

Sometimes a night at the tavern needs a little more entertainment than music from the resident bard. A good tavern brawl always draws an audience, and if you've gotten into a fistfight in a public area, you will hear plenty of NPCs commenting in between swings.

The reactions to the sight of two people brawling vary widely. Some people are utterly disapproving of the whole thing, some will offer tips, and there'll even be a few taking bets on 'the big one.' Hopefully, their money is on you.
