The Skyrim board game crowdfunding campaign is now live, and perhaps expectedly, it’s already 270% funded after just 28 minutes. But thanks to the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Gamefound campaign website, we now have a wealth of information on just how thi♏s new tabletop adventure is going to play out.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - The Adventure Game is for one to four players, includes two full campaigns of three chapters each, with each chapter taking between 90 to 120 minutes to complete. This makes each campaign basically a week-long adventure that would entirely encompass your kitchen table if the game didn't come with some convenient save boxes to keep track of all your stuff.
Speaking of cards, there are a lot of 'em. The base game has over 600 cards that deal with quests, events, characters, NPCs, dungeons, statuses, random encounters, equipment, enchantments, and more. That's not to mention the hundreds of tokens to keep track of your experience and health, as well as the nine custom dice for that element of randomness.
We've learned courtesy of that Skyrim - The Adventure Game's two campaigns are both prequels. You play as a member of the Blades trying to prevent the end of the world, but only one of the campaigns actually deals with the arrival of the Dragonborn.
“The first campaign is 25 years before [the events of the video game], so you get to meet some of the [non-player characters] from Skyrim, but 25 years before when they were a young adventurer and then they take an arrow to the knee — and that happens!" Juan Echenique, Modiphius game designer, told Polygon in an interview. "The second campaign starts before the arrival of the Dragonborn, and then ends after the arrival of the Dragonborn. So you get to see all the events that the Dragonborn causes. You’ll cross paths with the Dragonborn &md💯ash; they’re just a different character — and it’s really fun to watch that from afar.”
You'll travel to all of Skyrim's major locations, including Whiterun, Riften, and Solitude, as well as random caves, bandit outposts, and Dwemer ruins. Everything is kept track on your player board and cards, and when the chapter is over you can save all your stuff in a convenient save box.
The base tier starts at £68 ($92 USD) for the first 2011 backers, and after that, the price rises to £82 ($111). As of the time of this writing, there are just 200 potential backers left who will get this lower price. The &poun🐭d;140 ($190) Gameplay tier will get both the Dawnguard and From the Ashes expansions, which add more cards and characters to play with, while the £220 ($300) deluxe tier get more miniatures, metal gold Septims, and a neoprene game mat.
There are still 33 days left to the , but it’d be best to act now. Modiphius is aiming for a £100 ($136) retail pr🐬ice when Skyrim - The Adventure Gameꦯ eventually hits store shelves.
