While there are many things to accomplish as you travel through Skyrim, there's a reason why Bethesda puts so much e🐠ffort into their weapons collection. Hundreds of blades, daggers, axes, and hammers await the brave hero who earns them. Some require rare resources to craft, and others require you to slay✱ a horde of enemies to get to them.
Among the pile of weapons, a few stand out above the rest. Rare weapons who deal with big damage and st𓆏rike fear into the heart of your enemies. Combine this with effects that add a whole new dynamic into the game, upgrades and enchantments all have a 💙massive impact on how effective a weapon plays.
10 Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow 🐈 💯
Carrying around a heavy crossbow all day doesn't sound like much fun to most, but when you see how much damage i💫t deals, things don't seem quite as bad. You'd better set up your shot though because the reload time on this bad boy is slower than 🐟most.
It delivers such a blow that half of y꧋our enemy's armor it simply ignores. Meaning even the most heavily shielded enemy is likely to take a big hit. it's not quite as fast-paced ไas the other bows in the game but it more than makes up for it in raw power.
9 🐠 Auriel's Bow
The opposiﷺte enไd of the spectrum to the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow, this bow will give you all the speed and dexterity you need. Players that like to get in close with their bow will benefit from its fast reload time and great accuracy.
While it's on the bottom end of the damage scale as far as the leaderboard goes, Auriel's bow will deliver 20 sun damage of that. If it's an undead enemy (which you'll be seeing a lot of) it triples that! Making this a great bow to wipe out the o꧂ften tricky crypts with.
8 Chillrend
The standard weapon for any hero is the sword, inspiring an array of variations throughout the game. Chillrend is one of the most effective as it delivers 30 frost damage on top of its already high base dama🌟ge.
On top of that, it gives you a chance to stun your opponent for a couple of seconds with every ♏hit. Not only do you get a big hitter it also allows you to get more of those hits in. The threat of a counter-attack drops significantly too if they're stuck in the mud as soon as you attack.
7 ꩵ Stalhrim War Axe
The most powerful axe without pushing the weight into the top 2. the Stalhrim War Axe has a great balance of power and speed, making for a 𝓡quick defeat for the enemy you come across.
This advantage grows when a player uses a frost enchantment as the axe makes it 25 percent stronger. With the long list of enchantments, you can choose your destiny with what ability you want to superไcharge. Not only ꦗdoes it give the players great base weapon but a personal effect boost as well.
6 Dawngua♋rd Rune Axe
Players sometimes find themselves having a bit of spring cleaning around the crypts. Marching through undead after undead, finding the loot that comes aloꦗng with it. The Dawnguard Rune Axe is the perfect weapon to accompany you.
From sunrise to sunset the axe keeps track of how many undead you kill with it. For every undead, you slay it adds a point the bonus damage you inflict. So if a player finds themselves🐟 facing much undead, like you often will, you can swing this axe until the end of the day. Eventually gaining so much damage that one swing is all you'll need.
5 ꩵ 🐓 Mace Of Molag Bal
the Mace Of Molag Bal is a uniquely useful weapon due to its Soul Trap effect, filling your soul gems and putting you on the fast track to enchanted items. Not only does it give you the resources to upgrade itself, but it can also pull up your entire inventory of weapons wiꦚth enchantments.
The mace also has a balanced weight to𓃲 power, leaving the player room for all your other items. Instead of just attacking health it will take away 25 points of stamina and magic while it's swinging. Overall you have a pretty special weapon tha🍷t can do just about anything you ask of it.
4 Volendrung 🌱 ⛄
Players usually know exactly what they are getting when they pick up a great Warhammer. Look at th෴e things, huge, heavy pieces of metal that can do damage to just about anything that moves. Volendrung adds not only a stylish look but a great effect to fight with.
Unfortunately, looking like the saddest hero out there isn't all slaying and victory, you have to carry all thꦦat heavy gear around. This can eat up your stamina as you swing the heavy hammer and leave you exhausted. Volendrung takes a massive 50 points of damage when it hits, leaving your enemy exhausted long before you ever will be.
3 Wuuthrad
A large battleaxe that deals a large amount of damage for the we𓃲ight. Wuuthrad will give you a heavy bang for your buck. While other heroes are playing around with swords and spears, whoever wields this weapon will smash straight to the point.
Given the added effect of a 1.2x damage multiplier against a wide variety of evil creatures. This includes every variety of elf and orc, making it a powe🦋rhouse against some of the most ꦡcommon creatures in the game. Not only do you get to complete the hero look, but you can also mow down enemies too.
2 Blood🗹skal Blade
Coming in as the lightest greatsword that deals damage in the running of most powerful. the Bloodskal Blade's true value is not in the damage it does with its🐽 body but🍒 the blast it creates when it hits. Only power moves will create the blast so players need to watch their stamina.
Not that it will take veꦉry long to defeat your enemies with a blast that deals 30 damage and covers a decent range. This blade acts less like a sword and more like a reusable grenade. There's little use for a heavyset blade when you have such a powerful effect attached to the hilt.
1 Windshear
Great for you, incredibly frustrating for whoever you come up against. Windshear ꩲstaggers your opponent every time you hit them, so unless they have an incredible defensive game the risk of return fire fall🌄s.
you don'ꦓt even have to be swinging the blade for it to help you out, anytime you block-bas♉h the enemy has a 39 percent chance of being paralyzed. Leaving them wide open for a barrage of attacks. You'll have to get those hits in while you can because it does fall on the lower end of the damage scale.
