It’s hard not to spend half your ranch space on corrals just for these cuties and their comb🃏ination Slimes. The added bonus is that you can use their Plorts to have a pink version of any other slime you want.
9 Phosphor Slime 💖
Phosphor Slimes are agile and excitable, and only come out after the sun has gone down. Thes🐓e glowing balls of happiness are easier to keep in Slime Rancher 2 than they were in the first game, and Phosphor Plorts are incredibly useful in⛦ a lot of upgrades and tools.
On top of being great for the ranch, Phosphor Slimes ar🦋e just warmly adorable and great to look at. Like a big firefly hanging around an oversized bubble, with little wings that can barely lift it.
8 🎐 Tabby Slime
You can’t really go wrong with cats. Some of the best games that came out in recent years have had escalatingly more feline themes, in fact. It&rsqu✱o;s an obvious choice to add some cat elements into your game about adorable farm animals, and the Tabby Slime is the perfect farm cat.
Tabby Slime is everything we could ever ask for in a cat. Round, bouncy, and happy to be here. The escaping a☂nd eating of the entire coop of chickens while no one is looking is a bit of a problem, though.
7 ✃ Cotton Slime
Slime Rancher 2 hit players right off the bat with a hei♎nously adorably new addition: The Cotton Slime. Reminiscent of a Marshmallow🌱 Peep candy that’s been pumped up, the Cotton Slime is a high-jumper with the appetite of an absolute monster.
Don’t be deceived by how dainty and sweet they look, they’ll soon have you farming cabbage overtime and buildin𝄹g high barriers. It’s hard to be mad at their cute little yellow bunny faces, and you’re probably going to keep letting them cause chaos on your ranch forever.
6 ♏ Flutter Slime
So far there’s no evidence of a caterpillar-themed slime to go along with it, but the Flutter Slime is a big hit. This majestic little blob resembles a Monarch Butterfly and even has bendy little antennae coming🍷 out of its… head area.
Their only diet is nectar, which 🍨makes them significantly more difficult to keep on the ranch than most of the other single-type slimes. Still, they’re pretty to look at for a while before you harvest all of their Plorts.
5 Gold Slime 🥀
Looking like a drop of pure liquid gold, the wiggly little Gold Slime is as 🧔adorable as it is valuable. They only eat Gilded Ginger, like the upper-class Slimes they are, which makes them a bit of a pain to keep on the ranch.
Taking the trek all the way out💧 to see them will yie🉐ld you not only the most valuable Plorts in the game, but a delightful encounter with some cute little blobs of shiny molten gold. You can’t put a price on that.
4 🅺 Angler Slimes 💙
Th✃e Angler Slime is the maddest little thing in the game, aside from the Tarr Slimes and the big angry Feral Slimes. It’s more endearing than i🍸t is threatening, even though Angler Slimes are carnivores.
ꦅOf course, they do have a happy mood face,🌞 but there’s just something about the resting angry face they’re sporting that’s especially cute. They’re big on food, so make sure your coops are stocked up if you’re going to bring them back home with you.
3 Honey Slimes 🍃
Honey Slimes are a treasure to behold, with their messy shapes and honeycombs stuck to their heads. Th𒉰eir Plorts have to be collected quickly, as other Slimes are very enthusiastic about eating them.
They’re hard to keep Slimes, and might be even harder in Slime Rancher 2, but their cuteness is out of control. They look like splats of honey and joy, and are just pure fun to be around. The rich honey-colored Plorts they prodꩲuce are pretty valuable, too.
2 ౠ Batty Sliไme
Looking at the Batty Slime induces a feeling of pure “aww”, even if you’re not a big fan of bats. They&rsquoꦏ;re devious little rascals who prefer a nice, cool cave to the topside comforts of your ranch, so it’s ha𝓀rd to put them on display properly without making them unhappy.
It takes a little spelunking to find the Batty Slimes, and the adventure is worth it. Their favorite food is Pomegranite, but these spooky, elusive Slimes will happily sink their fangs into any type of fruit you’൩ve got for them.
1 🐠 Ringtail Slime
Of course, the sneaky raccoon-themed Ringtail Slime is into any and all kinds of food. During the day, these mischievous critt✨ers are turned into stone statues until dusk, unless you have a solar shield installed. During the night, they use up all of their free time committing horrible crimes and looking illegally adorable while doing so.
Sure, it consumed your entire farm overnight and upset all your 🐈other Slimes because you didn’t build enough barri𝓀ers, but look how cute its little Ringtail statue is. Aww!
