GameStop may have accidentally revealed the next Smash Ultimate DLC fighter ahead of time while discussing Paper Mario.
18 months on from the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the biggest roster in the franchise's history continues to grow. The latest addition came in the form of ARMS' Min Min. Other fighters added to Ultimate via DLC so far include Banjo & Kazooie, Persona's Joker, Terry, Byleth, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest's Hero. Other than Banjo & Kazooie, most of the fighters added so far have been met with a le🌄ss than enthu🍸siastic reaction.
Ultimate players who have been underwhelmed by what they have seen so far, there's good news. Min Min was the first Challenger Pack of the Fighter Pass vol. 2. There will be five more Challenger Packs in vol. 2 at which point Ultimate's roster building will likely come to an end.
Onto what every Smash player loves to do whether they agreed with the last addition or not, speculating as to who might be coming next. Well, GameStop may have let the cat out of the bag before Nintendo had the chance. Prior to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Paper Mario: The Origami King's release, the store released a video discussing what to expect from the title and delved into its past, touching on Super Mario RPG.
When talking about the series, Pamela Horton mentions everyone "freaking out when Geno was announced for Smash!" An odd thing to say since Geno has not been added to the Smash roster nor has there ever been any mentioned of that. She co🧔uld have been referring to when the Geno Mii Fighter costume was added, but that happened five years ago and angered players si♋nce it wasn't the full character getting the nod.
GameStop has since claimed the video was referring to the introduction of a Geno spirit but again, that wasn't something Ultimate players freaked out about. I♋t might be a stretch, but at this point, the most logical explanation is that GameStop knows something we don't. There's a Nintendo Direct coming up later this month, perhaps the next DLC fighter will be announced there, and hopefully, it will be Geno.
