The recent announcement that Steve—yes, Minecraft Steve—would be 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s next DLC fighter sent the gaming world into an almost never-before-seen frenzy. Fans’ reactions to the news were so explosive that they may even have been the cause of tha𝕴t day's Twitter crash!
Since the initial announcement, Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai has elaborated more on what Smash Bros. players can expect from the new Minecraft collaboration. Emphasis on teased. While the livestream Sakurai ൩held on October 3 was all about detailing Steve’s arrival in the Smash Bros. universe, Sakurai did not confirm that the Minecraft hero would be receiving an Amiibo figurine. Instead, he revealed three DLC fighters whose Amiibo figurines are slated to be released in 2021: Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, and male Byleth.
Sakurai then joked that if Nintendo ever chose to make a Minecraft Amiibo for Steve, “it’ll be easier compared to the other ඣfighters.” It’s not hard to see his point; Steve is a cube attached to a rectangle attacked to four more rectangles. While making his sword or pickaxe might prove to be a bit of a pain,𝓰 compared to Terry’s long flowing hair and Banjo & Kazooie’s entire model, producing a Steve Amiibo might as well be a walk in the park.
Although it is not yet confirmed that the DLC fighters from Fighters Pass Vol. 2 (which include ARMS’ Min Min as well as Steve) will receive an 🦹Amiibo, it’s highly unlikely that Nintendo would pass on the chance to make them. Amiibo production may have slowed down these past few years, but with the revitalization of Animal Crossing Amiibo cards for New Horizons and all of Fighters Pass Vol. 1's fighters now having their Amiibos either announced or released, it feels as though it's only a matter of time before Vol. 2's DLC fighters get their turn.
Still, considering the massive gap between the release of Joker and the Dragon Quest Hero's Amiibos and the announcement of the final three DLC fighters', players will likely be waiting a while for any confirmation about Steve's Amiibo prospec🧸ts.
