The last half of 2019 was not kind to James “VoiD” Makekau-Tyson. “VoiD” was a standout player in Smash 4 and seemed to transition well in Ultimate, but the formidable Shiek and Pichu player has not been able to sustain success as indicated by the latest Panda Global rankings for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Unable to secure strong finishes in the second ha𓃲lf of 2019 and struggling to find a new main saw VoiD suffer a dramatic 29 point drop in the rankings. Once sitting strong at ninth place, he now sits at 38th in a tier reserved mostly for emerging talents and prospects that are on the uptrend. Though the drop is certainly a dramatic one, VoiD was able to regroup and turn in strong performances that stopped his steep decent.

VoiD took 5th and 9th place respec༺tively at Mainstage and Glitch 7, but capped off a year that started strong before going south in a hurry. First places finishes at SoCal 📖Chronicles and Smash Ultimate Summit Squad Strike Crew Battles, along with finishing second at Genesis 6 suggested that a big year was ahead for him. He was unable to maintain that momentum for the rest of the year, save for the above mentioned performances.

With significant nerfs to Pichu via balance patches and Shiek’s lack of viability in tournament play, VoiD saw that his two mains had to do considerably more to win as the year progressed. There was a period of time where VoiD began dabbling with Joker, who many consider to be 💧the best character in the game, but opted to stay with his mains to close out the year instead of experimenting with someone new.

Despite his lack of success in the later half of the year, who would certainly be able to make the right adjustments and come back in force for 2020. If anything, these rankings should not only show the volatility of play in eSports' , but puts in perspective how heavy a cold streak is to these competitors as they chase Ultimate glory.
