One of the new additions to the already gargantuan Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were Echo Fighters, a new type of fighter that was modeled after an already existing fighter. Echo Fighters allowed for more representation of characters that fans wanted to see while cutting down on how long they would take to develop, making everyone happy in the process. Some older fighters were reclassed as Echo Fighters, while oth🐼er new fighters joined the roster under this moniker.
T🐽oday, we're going to take a look at each Echo Fighter (there ඣare currently seven on the roster) and see what exactly their differences are from their base fighters. Let's get right into it.
7 🉐 Daisy: Only Aesthetics
The first 💟new Echo Fighter introduced to the series, Daisy, shares almost no similarities to her base fighter, Peach. Just kidding, they're actually almost exactly the same. In fact, the only differences they have, like a few other fighters on this list, are in their aesthetics. While Peach is all about love and... peaches, Daisy's attacks tend to sprout rainbows and... daisies. Her Final Smash also produces the flowers (that she eats for some reason), and her Toad guard is blue instead of red.
6 Dark Samus: Only Aesthetics ꦍ
Dark Samus is a pretty similar Echo Fighter to Daisy, as Dark Samus really only🍰 differs from Samus in terms of visuals. For one, Dark Samus is floating at all times, hoverin🌠g slightly above the ground.
Beyond that, pretty much all of Dark Samus's attacks have a darker col𝔍or scheme, including her Final Smash, which is basically a negative-colored ver⭕sion of Samus's. Dark Samus gave us our fourth rep and our third Samus rep. Diversity is a great thing.
5 Richter: Only Aesthetics🥀
For the final Echo Fighter that doesn't have any real differences from their base fighter, we have Richter, a descendant of Simon Belmont. The two Castlevania reps have barely any real mechanical differences from one another, save for Richter's Holy Water not being a fire-based attack, which changes how it affects its target. Beyond that, they only differ in terms of aesthetics. While Smash tries to paint the two as if they share moves with one another, Richter is a pretty💞 standard Echo Fight🍰er of Richter.
4 Lucina: No Sweetspots ༺
Onto the Echo Fighters that actually are different from their base fighters, we have Fire Emblem's Lucina, who is Marth's Echo. The two share one difference that can actually really affect how to use them, in that Lucina doesn't have Marth's sweetspot on the tip of her swor🤡d, meaning that no matter where her sword's hitbox lands on her opponent, she's dealing the same amount of damage.
Other than that, the two are generally pretty similar to one another. Unl♌ess you prefer one playstyle over the other, aesthetics are the only other thing that separates them.
3 Chrom: Actual Differences 🐭 ☂
Ch𒉰rom is actually the Echo Fighter that shares the most differences from their base fighter, which is Roy, in this case. For one, Chrom doesn't have any of Roy's sweetspots, just like Lucina. More importantly, though, Chrom's Up Special is totally different from Roy's, being a new move called Soaring Slash (that resembles Ike's Aeth🐬er). Chrom also has his own Final Smash, Awakening Aether. Also pretty much all of his moves are mechanically different from Roy's in one way or another.
They really could🐬 have 🌌made Chrom his own character with just a bit more development, which cannot be said for any other Echo Fighter.
2 D🎃ark Pit: Silver Bow
Dark Pit, an Echo Fighter of, get this, Pit, is mostly aesthetic-based when it comes down to differences, save for his standard special, Silver Bow, behaving slightly differently from Pit's Palutena Bow. Dark Pit's arrows deal more damage, a bit more knockback, and travel at a greater speed. In turn, t🦄hey also have less range and you can't as e𝔉asily influence their direction. It's a fair trade-off between the two moves.
There really isn't that much of a change between the two mechanically, so it really comes down to whether or not you want regular Pit or Edgy Pit, as the two have greatly different aesthetics and attitudes. One of them di♓dn't even learn how to read.
1 ▨ Ken: A Few Differences ไ
An Echo Fighter before he was even in Super Smash Bros., our final character on the list is Ken, the Echo Fighter of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter's Ryu. Overall, the two characters ar🐼e pretty similar when it comes to their movesets. However, they have different input commands from one another, and a few moves are swapped out. Beyond that, their Final Smashes (each of them have two) are different from one another.
Ken is a nice middle ground between the ones that don't change at all, such as Daisy, and the ones that are completely different from their 🌜base characters, with Chrom being the one Echo Fighter to really fit that description.
