Many Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans are convinced that Devil May Cry 🦂series protagonist Dante may be tꦅhe next to join the fight.
This comes from recent comments from one of Devil May Cry 5's voice actors and a content update to the Switch version of Devil May Cry 3. However, an image of Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai holding up his hand in an awkward way suggests that Kingdom Hearts' Sora may be coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, according to one Twitter user.
It has now been announced that the next fighter to be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be revealed on Thursday, putting end to the rumors and theorizing that have flooded the internet. Hypothesized characters swing from the aforementioned Dante to Master Chief to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Half-Life's Gordon Freeman, though a prevailing new prediction is that of Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series.
Following the from Twitter account Nintendo Versus, which features Sakurai holding up his hand sideways in an awkward manner, Twitter user compared Sakurai's proposed hand signal to the logo of Kingdom Hearts 3.
This theory isn't totally off-the-wall. Sora has been a desired fighter by many Smash fans for years. Sora is also a fitting character for the mixed Smash Bros. roster, which includes characters as out-of-place as Soli🎃d Snak🌳e and Bayonetta.
However, Sakurai specifically making his hand look like the logo for the third entry in the Kingdom Hearts series seems to be an incredibly obscure way to indicate that Sora will be in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Other theories illustra🌳te that his hand, showing only three fingers, might reference the cartoonish hands of the next fighter that will join the roster. Rayman and Crash Bandicoot are among the suspe🤡cted candidates.
While Sakurai's hand could be telling of the next Smash Bros. fighter, this appears to be an instance of fans reading an awful lot into something that may have༒ no meaning. Whether the next fighter is Sora, Dante, a thr🍌ee-fingered video game character, or anyone else will be seen on Thursday.
