While most fans watching the Nintendo Direct presentation assumed that Banjo-Kazooie would be finally available in the roaster of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate later that day, few expected the surprise announcement afterwards stating that there are even more fighters to come following t🍸he release of Terry Bogard in September.

This has players won꧟dering a few things such as who might be added following Terry, how 💟many more fighters are we to expect, and will they be included in the pass, or will they need to be purchased outright?

Pay To Play, It Seems

The wording by Nintendo seems clear on the matter, that the only heroes covered in the pass are the first five. Additional characters will likely be made for individual purchase or in a new bundle, depending on how manyܫ are planned for release. The original release of the bundle was priced at $24.99 while individual characters could be purchased at $5.99 each. We can probably expect a similar treatment depending on how many characters they plan to release.

Who Can We Expect?

With the leak that Terry Bogard would be the “last” fighter added to the game, all hopes went out the window for other characters; but now, anything is possible. The immediate call across the internet seemed to be for Waluigi, and there are so many options that anyone’s guess could be right. Will we see an 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Overwatch character? Perhaps, though the timing likely would ꦛhave been better to coincide with the release of the upcomin🐲g port.

Fire Emblem as a series seems like an obvious choice given how successful the game has been, and there is no shortage of cast from which to choose. Dante from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Devil May Cry is another popular character, as is Sora from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kingdom Hearts. Phoenix Wright is also a fan favorite to see added to the game, and for the unfamiliar, here is the lawyer in a fan-m🃏ade trailer.

No Break For Masahiro Sakurai?

While the announcement is a welcome one, players were mostly surprised because Masahiro Sakurai, the series director for Smash, has been indicating the need for a break, and that the fifth DLC character would be the natural close for the development of the game. However, in the presentation following the Nintendo Direct, he stateไd:

“To me, it feels like the finish line is sliding farther away. You may wonder, ‘How much longer can he be involved with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?’ But I’m also excited. Adding more characters into the game means more gam🎃e worlds will be added to the series, and ultimately, that means there will be an even greater opportunity to delight the fans. At the same time, I feel that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is representing so many characters and game worlds that it’s become an enormous game. Even if the Super Smash Bros. series continues moving forward, I doubt there will be an opportunity to bring this many characters together again, so I want to keep imꩵproving on this record as much as possible, and I will continue to work hard at developing the game. I appreciate your support.”

For now, it seems like there is far more to come to Smash, and that is fantastic news all around.
