The Geno and Shantae fans of the world need to prepare for one final vigil, as Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that the second Fighters Pass for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be the last one for the gamꦡe and that no more DLC characters will be released after that.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has received six DLC characters to date. Pirahna Plant from the Super Mario Bros. series was given out to early adopters and it was followed by a Fighters Pass, which contained five characters. The original Fighters Pass had Joker from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Persona 5, Hero from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Quest, Banjo-Kazooie, Terry from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fatal Fury, and Byleth from 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It was later revealed that more 💧DLC characters were coming to the game.
It was revealed during the Byleth Direct that the second Fighters Pass would add an additional six characters. It seems that this will be it for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in terms of DLC content. PushDustin from has translated Sakurai's latest Famitsu column, in which it was revealed that the next six characters would be the last to be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Sakurai also said that there were currently no plans for future entries in the series, which makes sense, considering the fact that Nintendo isn't likely to release a second Super Smash Bros. game on th🐽e Switch (DLC makes way more sense) and the follow-up to the 🍃Switch is years away.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has an incredible amount of content for its asking price and it truly is the biggest video game crossover of all time. The number of characters already present in the game is staggering and it will be hard to complain if the next six are the last new additions to the game... unless they happen to be six more Fire Emblem characters.
The second Fighters Pass for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is avai💟lable to pre-purchase now. The six characters are expected to be released by the end of 2021.
