Snoop Dogg pretended to play an upcoming survival game yesterday, and the in▨ternet has gone bananas.

You may remember Snoop Dogg from such classic songs as “Gin and Juice,” “What’s My Name?”, and the irreverent tune turned meme, “Smoke Weed Everyday.” In addition to being an unapologetic cannabis sm𒀰oker, Snoop Dogg is also an avid gamer, often posting videos of himself playing games on his Instagram.

So it should really come as no surprise that the D-O-double-G would agree to do a publicity li🌳vestream▨ for the upcoming survival game, SOS.

The game is like the '90s reality TV show Survivor, if it were actually entertaining. As the game’s advertising describes it, “Find a hidden relic, signal for extraction, and escape on the chopper.” Things get more complicated from thꩲereღ as 16 players fight amongst themselves who will survive long enough to actually get the relic.

Much like Survivor, players are encouraged to make temporary alliances before in💖evitably betraying them and making off with the♍ relic. There can be only one winner, after all.

Finding the relic can also be a litt🎉le easier said than done as it’s often in the𒊎 back of a terrifying monster.

The game just released on Steam Early Access, and as part of the release, the developers decided to get a ꦫcelebrity endorsement in the form of The King himself. So, in a livestream on Twitch, it appeared that Snoop was playing the game and having a grand old time.

However, things started to 🅺get a little fishy when viewers were treated to Snoop apparently still chopping away at i🐬n-game obstacles while both .

Twitch viewers were outraged. Reddit was a little more moderate in 🧔its response, with user Pavlo100 perhaps saying it best: "It’s amazing how much marijuana has done for us. Snoop Dogg obviously is one of the most frequent users and he has transcen⛎ded into being able to use telepathy."

Latent mental powers activated by cannabis aside, Snoop♌ Dogg let the cat out of the bag himself .

However, SOS is a game that’s as much about interactin🦹g with people as interacting with the environment. While it’s true that Snoop wasn’t at the controls, he was the one with the headset, and he was genuinely talking to 🐻the other players. So you could say that Snoop was at least half-playing SOS.
