However, things are not as they seem. By the end of Solar Ash, you will realise that this is the type of game where you have to replay it to catch all the clues. Throughout the game, there are gl🍃aring — yet easily missable — hints foreshadowi💛ng the end of Solar Ash.

7 " Ah...an end, a♒ beginning. Around we go."

Solar Ash Echo speaks to Rei

Even Rei's first meeting with Echo should clue you in to the fact that Echo is familiar with Rei. Although it might seem like Echo is blaming Rei for no reason, the game's ending shows that Echo wasn't totally wrong after all.

Your conversations with Echo show that this isn't your first rodeo together. As you progress and kill more Remnants, Echo begins to warn Rei, hoping that she'd remember and stop this hellish time loop once and for all. Plus, Echo's name and appearance is a glaring hint foreshadowing her connection with Rei.

6 "That Remnant, it's...It's familiar. Like I saw it in a dream."

Solar Ash Massive Remnant Rusted Dagger

Aside from 16🧔8澳洲幸运5开奖网:hunting down all the Voidrunner caches, the Massive Remnants Rei encounters pose a problem in her mission to activate the Starseed. Rei doesn't notice anything amiss when she kills the first few, but slowly she begins to realise that there is more to these gargantuan beings.

Initially, she senses their fear and desperation, but when she gets to the Rusted Dagger Remnant something triggers her memory. Rei says it's like viewing a scene from a dream, later discovering that she is actually seeing and reliving the past versions of herself. Besides, the Rusted Dagger Remnant looks s🧜imilar to Rei.

5 "I've been here before. Yes - so many times."

Solar Ash Lyris mourns Morys

One of the first survivors Rei encounters in the Ultravoid is a Veruki named Lyris. Lyris doesn't seem to acknowledge or realise Rei's presence, as she is grieving over her lost people and her loved one.

Rei eventually finds Lyris in an underground tomb, with the names of her people hung along the walls. Rei speaks to Lyris, and that was when she realises that Rei is real. Lyris mumbles a bit more, before saying that she's done the same thing hundreds of times before, hinting at the time loop.

Solar Ash Rei speaks to the Keeper of the Silent

Rei meets a shy, nervous Umbra named Ahrric, who is the last of his people. He cannot progress to the Eternal Garden🃏 and seems anxious over speaki🌞ng to the Umbra Elders. So, Rei volunteers to do it for him.

Rei meets the first Elder — the Keeper of the Silent — and takes the chance to ask her about Echo. The Elder sounds amused, saying that Echo is in an eternal loop and stuck between life and death. When she meets the other Elders, they are all repulsed by Rei. They keep saying that she does ✱not belong in the Eternal Garden and that she is not as she appears to be.

3 "It looked like he was...frozen in the moment he d♕ied."

Solar Ash Rei finds Verse's body

One of the enduring mysteries in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Heart Machine's Solar Ash is how Rei's surviving fellow Voidrunners died. They don't appear to leave behind a physical body to bury, only glitching and phasing in and out of existence.

Rei aptly describes them as frozen, but maybe they are frozen in time instead? They don't stay in one place, as if stuck in an endless loop of their last moments alive. Based on the Void Logs, something clearly happened to them. The number of time loops they've been through may have left some kind of side effect, causing their real bodies to disintegrate and leaving behind a glitchy imprint.

2 "People aren't who they say they are."

Solar Ash Rei comforts Ames

Ames' story ends in tragedy when he discovers that his beloved First Citizen has betrayed their people for the sake of greed. Ames virtually worshipped the First Citizen, never once doubting their loyalty to Cyclodorea.

Rei finds Ames in despair, all his crew dead and him the last Cyclodorean. Rei tries to comfort Ames, saying that people aren't who they seem. This is ironic since she is unknowingly referring to the truth about her nature an🍒d identity.

1 "But judging from the rate of decay...a lo🐓ng time."

Solar Ash Cyd tells Rei about the XR Polaris

After defeating the second Massive Remnant and getting crushed by Echo again, Rei returns to Cyd. Cyd tells her♚ she found a signal from the crashed Voidrunner ship, but something is off.

Cyd says that conditions on the ship are unliveable and that the signal has been pinging for an undetermined amount of time. Rei is in disbelief since she knows some Voidrunners survived and died recently. It seems the Voidrunner ship has aged and it hints at how long Rei's been stuck in a time loop.
