Solid Snake made a cameo at EVO 2019, but it was all a joke and n🐲ot intended to be a surprise guest💙 character reveal. Now, Snake’s voice actor is warning the event organizers to never use his voice again.

The video briefly showed Snake remarking to Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada “that was some good-a** Tekken” following🎶 a match, and then the feed abruptly cut off.
The video wasn’t part of EVO’s livestream, but sꦏe𓆏veral audience members were able to catch the vid as it aired at the event.
As you can see in the video, people were shocked when Snake showed up. When the camera goes back to the announcer, he’s just staring dumbfounded at the screen while everyone in the crowd is going ballistic. But no, it turns out this was all an elaborate prank perpetraဣted by EVO’s organizers.
"Just to clear things up, the Snake cameo video that we showed during Tekken finals was our idea of a little joke,” the organizers wrote on . “It was not intended to imply a character reveal and was done on our 🅷own, without consulting Bandai Namco. Sorry for any confusion!”
Gamers were devastated at the news, but Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter was just angry. He tweeted out later that day that EVO “failed to consult me, or Konami” for their little prank, and to never use h✤is🌌 voice to promote other games. “Ever.”
There was at least some official Tekken news . Season 3 of Tekken 7’s DLC characters was announced, including Zafina returning from Tekken 6 and new 𝄹character Leroy Smith, who we know nothing about but will arrive later this winter.
