Last month Bright Memory was released on after just over a year in Early Access. Originally titled Bright Memory: Episode 1, it has since been renamed to just Bright Memory, as its planned second and third episodes will now be reimagined, along with an overhaul of the already-released first episode, as Bright Memory: Infinite. Some early released around the same time as the initial Bright Memory is already demꦛonstrating that the re-release will be a visual treat.

Gameplay in Bright Memory is inspired by both action-oriented FPS games like Doom and classic action games like Devil May Cry. Players can alternate between gunplay and po🗹werful melee abili🧜ties to string together combos capable of clearing out hordes of enemies.

Early footage of Bright Memory: Infinite pops due to high graphical fidelity and a clean UI that showcases its style across the entirety of the screen. Just two indicators, for ammo held and the amount of ammo per clip, are integrated into the design of the player's gun, allowing the vibrant game world to take up the majority of the display. Bright Memory includes indica🌌tors for abilities in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, however, so this may not be a feature of the final product.

Perhaps even more impressive than the graphical capabilities of Bright Memory: Infinite is that it's being made by a single developer. That said, developer FYQD has assets from other games, which is especially apparent in earlier builds of Bright Memory. Following its success and increased visibility, he has since promised t💖o ensure the full and final version of the game will be comprised of fully original or licensed art.

With no release date set, Bright Memory: Infinite's  currently only allows players to add it to their wishlist. FYQD explains in the game description that those who purchased Bright Memory: Episode 1 will ultimately receive Infinite ꦐfor free in lieu of the once-planned additional episodes.
