Spells are nearly as important as soldiers in Songs Of Conquest. Since your army and their Wielder work together to generate Essence, your available spells will constantly change over the course of a battle. By managing your Essence carefully, you can work toward building up th෴e necessary power for some exceptionally powerful magic.
If you're not sure which spells to go for, try some selections from this list. They offer plenty of damage, protection, and utility that can turn a loss into a win, or turn a victory into an overwhelming rout.
Songs Of Conquest is currently in early access, and the game's spells may change as the development process continues. The contents of this list are therefore subject to change as well.

Start off every battle right by casting a spell that lets you cast more spells. This low-cost spell is easily cast by Wielders ෴from the Barony of Loth, and with the right skills can be accessed by the 🥃other factions as well.
The best targets for Strengthen Essence are units who generate two or more Essence by default. By getting an Essence advantage over the enemy Wielder early on, you can cast bigger spells faster and keep your foe 🌳on🧸 the defensive.

Having troops in the cওorrect position is critical during a Songs Of Conquest battle. Zones of control make it difficult to escape a tough situation, and high ground is an advantage to any unit that can claim it.
With Dimensional Door, you can easily reposition units as needed. Whether you need to pull a unit out of melee or move them to a more advantageous space, Dimensional Door is the most reliable teleportation spell in the game. Best of all, it doesn't count as moving, so teleporting a ranged unit won't cause them to suffer the usual damage reduction.

Justice is a perfect way for Barya and Loth to even the odds in the face of powerful enemies. Justice simply eliminates a set number of units in the target troop regardless of HP, damage reduction, or any other factors. While it's no use against swarming troops like Rats or Hunters, knocking off even a single Dragon or Legion without losing soldiers in return is a big deal.
Employ this spell with precision to soften up dangerous units or finish off weakened ones. That way you'll suffer fewer casualties overall and be able to press further with your Wielder in later turns.

The ultimate Order spell, Rally is a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:staple of Arleon's strategy but can also see heavy use from Loth and Barya. It can taඣke a while to build up the necessary Essence, but once cast it ensures that your side is going to have a great turn.
Be sure to cast Rally at the beginning of a round when you're poised to attack with as many units as possible. The extra Offense will translate to a percentage-based damage boost while the Defense increase will protect you against retaliation. R🔥ally is a great way to decisively finish a battle.

Burst Of Strength is great for mob armies - Barya and the Rana have the easiest time casting it, empowering Dreaths and Hunters alike. Since damage is calculated based on the size of a unit, Burst Of Strength grants its bonus once for each soldier an affected troop. Hence, a unit of thirty Dreaths will deal thirty additional damage at the spell's first tier, surely adding a few kills to their attack.
The fact that the spell affects your entire army gives it incredible value for its relatively low cost. If you have the Essence to do so, combine it with the next spell on this list for maximum damage.

Order and Chaos Essences can be tough to gather in one place, but an Arleon Faey army with su💫pporting Militia and Rangers can easily cast Onslaught regularly. Baryan armies making use of Tinkerers🌸 or Dreaths also have a fair chance of pulling it off.
Onslaught allows for multiple attacks from the same unit. Arelon's Faey troops are tailor-made for this spell. Faey Ragers get an additional attack already, so Onslaught can let them strike as many as three times in a single turn. Horned Ones and Queen's Guard, meanwhile, can trigger Berserk when retaliated against, making their followup attack even naꦗstier than 𓆉the first.

Closing to within the Deadly Range of enemy ranged units is risky. Your troops are bound to take heavy damage without some serious protection. As it turns out, there's no better protection in Songs Of Conquest than the Mist spell. The best defensive spell in the game simply prevents enemies from attacking your units.
Units affected by Mist can still be targeted by enemy spells.
Mist requires a decent amount of Creation Essence, so it's largely limited to the Rana or to specialized Wielders like Peradine. At its highest tier, Mist can effectively force your opponent to waste a turn by denying them any legal targets.

Chain Lightning can reduce an enemy army to dozens of pairs of smoking boots in an ♕i🎀nstant. It costs a large amount of Chaos Essence, making it difficult to cast for non-Faey armies, but its power is worth the price.
Arleon's Wielder Ethylle-Ernaline is practically made for this spell, with ready access to Chaos Essence from her Faey units. She starts with the Channeling skill which increases spell damage, and she has an inherent forty-percent spell damage boost as her Specialization. If Ethylle is your Wielder, cast this spell as often as you can - just be careful not to get your own units caught in the blast, as Chain Lightning doesn't discriminate between friend and foe.
