At that point, players would need at least 50 rings to activate Super Sonic and keep those rings topped up in order for the power to continue. Sonic 2 on Switch will also have a Time Trial mode which will a🤡llow players to compare their best times with others around the world.
For Sonic 2 speedrunners, the game's most interesting added feature is the inclusion of Sonic's drop-dash ability.
