Sega has officially announced the Sonic Central broadcast for this Thursday, providing a first look at new projects a🉐nd partnerships currently in deveꦇlopment.
Sonic Central — no, not the popular of the same name — will provide fans of the Blue Blur with some massive announcements and events 🔴to commemorate Sonic's 30th anniversary.
To accompany the announcement of the Sonic Central broadcast, Sega dropped a teaser v𓃲ideo to give a sneak preview of what the broadcast will entail. It featured IDW Sonic the Hedgehog comic artist Evan Stanley as she grew from a little girl trying to craft the perfect Sonic drawing to the i🔯llustrator whose artwork graces the comic books we read today.
Sonic Central is scheduled to stream on YouTube and Tw🎶itch at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST.
Sonic's 30th anniversary is less than a month away, and fans have been getting antsy over whether Sega will announce a new Sonic game to commemorate the milestone anniversary. Sega tried to and make it a virtual panel, but that never came to fruition either. Since then, any Sonic game news it wanted to announce has been kept under wraps.
Today, however, Sonic fans can take a big sigh of relief and see that not even the pandemic can slow down the world's fastest hedgehog.
