If you were to ask a Sonic fan who their least favourite character is, many would say Princess Elise. Sadly, it's easy to see why. While cur🧜rently only available in Japanese, it tells us how she's now taken up ice skating, and calls upon Silver the Hedgehog to help her practice her routine to a song that reminds her of her late parents.
The combination of an adorable redesign and backstory is enough for many to look past Elise's less-than-stellar introduction to the series, and hope it sees her in more Sonic media. True enough, her new look would help her fit into the Sonic world nicely, nowhere near as jarring as she was in൲ 2006.

There are no plans for Elise to appear in future games. But at the very least, this new artwork🐼 shows that Sonic Team hasn't forgotten about her𒈔, so that might be about to change. Come on Sega, she's been in time out long enough, she's learned her lesson.
