How To Complete All The Chaos Island Challenge Puzzles In Sonic Frontiers

Chaos Island is a volcanic archipelago that you'll visit halfway through Sonic Frontiers. It has slightly ♌fewer Challenges than the other islands, but many of them are hard to reach. Finding and solving as many Challenges as possible should be an early priority when you first arrive at Chaos Island, since it's harder to navigate than Kronos or Ares.

Unlocking the map will 🦂make it easier to find Tails, as well as the Portal Stages and Chaos Emerald Vaults. Use this guide to find all the locations and solutions to the island's Challenges!

M-055

Location: Southwest of the Stage 3-1 Portal.
Reward: Red Seed.

Stand on the tri📖angular pedestal on the raised platform near the Challenge Marker. Parry the incoming shot from t🐻he cannon to complete the challenge.

M-056

Location: East of the Stage 3-1 Portal.
Reward: Blue Seed.

Look for stones nearby that look like Tetris pieces. There will be a stack of them, and three identical pieces scattered on the ground. Use Cyloop on the scattered pieces to stack them on the nearby pedestal. Activate the pieces in the same order shown on the completed pedestal, from bottom to top.

If you stack pieces in the wrong order, you’ll need t📖o activatꦰe the rest of them to complete the incorrect input, then start over.

Location: East of the large caldera on the southern half of the island.
Reward: Red Seed. There are also some Kocos to collect near the Challenge site!

Stand between the two hoops and jump over the laser as it descends. Continue jumping over the laser until the timer r🔜uns out; if you’re hit or leave the platform, you’ll have to start over.

Location: South of the White Emerald Vault.
Reward: Blue Seed.

Stand on the green tile to begin the Challenge, then dodge left and right to hit the tiles as they light up. You’ll complete the 👍challenge after ten correct entries.

M-059

Location: North of the Stage 3-1 Portal
Reward: Red Seed.

Hit the reไd punching bag to begin the challenge. Deal 150 damage to the target before time runs out. Just keep making combo attacks with a Stompꦏ at the end, and you’ll deal more than enough damage.

M-060

Location: West of the lava flows on the southern half of the island.
Reward: Blue Seed.

Hit the hourglass with Homing Attack to start the timer. When the blue targets appear, don’t jump through them right away. Instead, look at the bottom♔ of the nearest co🌠lumn for a pile of black sand.

Use Cyloop around the pile to reveal a flower, which will boost Sonic into the air. This wil⭕l tag the first set of targets and let you get the other s🌠et on the way down.

Location: Southwest of the Stage 3-2 Portal.
Reward: Red Seed.

Use Cyloop to activate the nearby pedestal. When the ball and hoops appear, use Homing Attack to knock the ball through each of the hoops, in any order. The easiest way to do it is to remain on the ground and line up the ball with your target hoop before attacking.

M-062

Location: On the mountaintop south of the Stage 3-4 Portal. It’s midway between the Portal and the White Emerald Vault.
Reward: Blue Seed.

Step onto the floating platforms near the Challenge Marker and carefully use Cyloop to activate the glowing orbs there. Each orb🌠 will open the path to the next one;𝄹 just don’t fall off!

Location: Southeast of the Squid patrolling near the Blue Emerald Vault.
Reward: Red Seed.

Use Cyloop to activate the pedestal on the raised platform near the Challenge Marker. Knock the ball through all three hoops within the time limit. For the higher hoops, stand close to the ball and hit it from ground level to get the best angle.
