Nearly a whole year after ' initial launch, Sonic Team has been given a second chance at the game's finale with the Final Horizon, a free update to the game that not only changes the final few hours of the game and gives Sonic a brand-new version of his most powerful form, but also lets you play as Tails, Amy, and Knuckles for the first time in a mainline entry in a very long time.

In fact, some players are even complaining for casual players and that even turning down the difficulty to Easy doesn't make things much better. Redditor Tough-Priority-4330 said that climbing the Trial Towers is "impossible" and that you can't get through it the intended way and have to take an alternate path. Although it's a shame that certain parts of the game seemingly aren't working quite right, at least we'll never hear that Frontiers is too easy ever again.
