Throughout the story, we see a side of Eggman that previous games haven't explored, as he's shown to have genuine affection for his creation, Sage, and even considers her his child by the end of the game. Now, it looks like this is an aspect of Eggman that we will see more of in future Sonic games and spin-offs. This comes as a new piece official piece of artwork confirms that, as the ending to Frontiers suggests, Sage is still around. Better yet, the piece also shows that she and Eggman are still a family, as he gifts his weird digitized ghost daughter a pair of shoes for Christmas. He does have a heart after all. The artwork was shared earlier today on the Japanese 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter page. It shows Sage and Doctor Robotnik celebrating theiಌr first Christmas together, seemingly after the events of Sonic Frontiers.
While the picture hasn't been shared on English-speaking channels just yet, the translated descripti🍎on gives us further insight into Sage's lif🉐e after Frontiers.
"Sage, who received an update [from] Eggman, a room in the Final Egg base, projected into cyberspace, stares at a big change in [her] small toes [sic]," the description reads. It goes on to give us a quote from Eggman himself: "My perfeꩲct creation looks ugly barefoot!"
With Sage now living in Robotnik's base, that opens up the possibility of her returning in future games. Although considering she herself ⭕gets on quite well with Sonic now, it's not clear if she'll be up for fighting him as she did in Frontiers. Still, it does seem that her loyalties will always be with her father, so she might just go along with any nefarious plan he cooks up after their adventure in cyberspace.
