Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was confirmed to 🙈be happening earlier this year, and now we know e🌸xactly when the sequel will hit theaters.
When 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sonic the Hedgehog hit tꦓhe big screen earlier this year, the majority of people who went to see it were pleasantly surpr⭕ised. Not only do most go into movie adaptations of video games with their guard up, but the almost-year long build to the live-action movie had Sonic fans fearing the worst. The movie's release was delayed three months in order for the blue blur to be designed, after all.
Turn☂s out that delay paid off, but thank goodness it wasn't delayed another month as the pandemic may haveꦚ prevented it from being released at all. Honestly, that could have been the final nail in Sonic's movie coffin. Instead, the movie continues to go from strength to strength. It performed well at the box office, came to VOD early, and a sequel has been confirmed.
Today Paramount announced even more good news. It revealed that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is set to♒ hit theaters in on April 8, 2022. Honestly, that's not as long a wait as we thought it would be, especially considering the state of limbo Hollywood is in right now. Less than two years to wait until we find out (spoilers alert) if Dr. Robotnik can escape the Mushroom Planet and💮 what role Tails will play going forward.
There is a chance that this date will change, of course. As the pandemic continues, and movie releases and production are dela🥀yed, there's no telling when we will get to see the next blockbusters on the big screen. Plus, there's always the chance Sonic fans hate the design of a character who is revealed during the first trailer. Tails is fine, but if Paramount screws u🤡p Knuckles, we will demand another redesign.
What to expect from Sonic the Hedgehog 2? Well, that has been touched on a little already. The credits scene from the first movie shows Tails arriving on Earth, frantically searching for Sonic. Chances a🌜re the hedgehog's home planet needs his help. Our money is on Knuckles being the sequel's primary antagonist, and he is the one who brings 🐠Robotnik back into the fold.
