168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sonic Superstars just got another trailer at Gamescom, giving us a better look at Sonic's first original 2D outing in years. It also gives us a release date, officially revealing that Sonic Superstars will be with us on October 17.
This trailer focuses on Sonic Superstars' co-op multiplayer, with players able to choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. All have their own different perks, allowing for more ways to play outside of Sonic's iconic superspeed. Now, we also know there will be a bunch of options to customise our heroes, including one skin that turns Sonic into the rabbit he was initially planned to be in old concept art.

Unfortunately, the trailer seems to also confirm that co-op won't be available in online play. A follow-up tweet from the Sonic the Hedgehog account says that we can "enjoy local co-op" or "take your gaming online in the free-for-all Battle Mode". So while we can play online, we won't be able to blast through the main story together unless we're all in the same room.
In better news, the rumours were true: Sonic the Rabbit is here. This skin is a throwback to Sonic's original concept art, which initially depicted him as a rabbit, not the Hedgehog with attitude we ended up with. He'll come packaged with the digital deluxe edition of Sonic Superstars, but it's not known if we'll be able to purchase him separately with our standard copies of the game.
Speaking of Sonic's origins, Superstars could ignite an old rivalry. The release date of October 17 puts it just days before Super Mario Bros. Wonder's launch, an incredibly ambitious move on Sega's part. Even putting the plumber aside for a second, October will also bring us Detective Pikachu Returns, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Assassin's Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, and many more. We're really not getting a break until the new year, are we?
