168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Sonic the Hedgehog might be pretty much focused on the third dimension these days, but that doesn't mean that Sega has abandoned its roots. Announced during Summer Game Fest, a new 2D classic Sonic game titles Sonic Superstars was announced, complete with other playable characters such as Knuckles, Tails, and Amy. We didn't get a specific release date unfortunately, but it's expected to launch at some point in Fall later this year.

During Summer Game Fest, we got a nice lengthy trailer showcasing some of the game's mechanics and boss fights. We saw a bunch of environments from the original games all gussied up with a fresh coat of paint, as well as what looks like some new ones for old-school Sonic fans to look forward to. To make things even better, it was also revealed that Sonic Superstars will have co-op, letting four players dash through the same stage at the same time.

As for any other little highlights, it seems like Sonic Superstars will attempt to shake up the standard 2D Sonic formula in some ways, as we see the cast of four shapeshift into some adorable pixely octopus. We also see Sonic gain a new power and run up some waterfalls, as well as an interesting 3D section that has him swinging from rings to get close to a goal. There are also a couple of very brief boss fights that we get to see, one of which is against one of Dr. Robotnik's big mechs.

Sonic Superstars wasn't the only big surprise during Summer Game Fest this year, as we got a bunch of exciting announcements from franchises both old and new. We will stick with Sega for now, as 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like A Dra♑gon: Gaiden got a release date after leaks surfaced online before the show. The date was revealed in a fairly lengthy gameplay trailer, which showed Kiryu taking down grunts with a fancy new gizmo he must have picked up at some point aft🌼er Yakuza 6🐻.

We also saw 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the return of the Prince of Persia✃ series, as Rayman Legends developer Ubisoft Montpellier announced Prince of Persia; The Lost Crown. Just like the developer's previous work, this Prince of Persia title will be in 2D and has dramatcially redesigned the prince for his next adventure. Other big reveals included the first deliciously gorey gameplay footage of the highly-anticipated Morta♊l Kombat 1, and the confirmation that Venom will not be Eddie Brock or Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. No prizes for guessing who he actually is now.
