Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a worthy sequel to the 2020 hit, but fails to reach the heights of great video game adaptations. That's according to Sonic 2's reviews at least, which are mixed as the film hit theatres in some regions yesterday.
Right now, Sonic 2's critical consensus is just shy of matching its predecessor. It sits at 62 percent on (one percent lower than the first), and 44 on .
