Of course, we have already seen a movie design of Shadow, as he did briefly appear at the very end of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. However, in keeping with his introduction in the games, he was found in a stasis machine. This didn't give us a great view of him, just enough to confirm that the anti-hero would be in the next film.
