The voice cast from Sonic Colors did a Q&A on Twitter tꦺhis week and effectively role played a short round of Among Us in which Tails was the imposter.
Sonic Colors: Ultimate launched last weekend, and Sega's promotion of the remastered game continues. The latest marketing took the form of a Twitter Q&A during which five of the game's voice actors fielded questions from fans. One of the questions selected was from a fellow game, Among Us. The murder mystery game's creators wanted to know who the biggest liar is among the five Sonic characters answering questions.
Dr. Robotnik was the first to make his case and would have been the obvious choice without saying a word. However, as the video continues, it appears to become clear that Yacker is the one with a taste for blood 🌱in what quickly becomes an improvised game of Among Us. Tails translates for Yacker, revealing to everybody that the alien loves murder and actually killed a guy back at Tropical Resort.
The rest of the group subsequently votes to boot Yacker into space, at which point Shadow points to a message revealing Yacker was not the imposter. All eyes then turn to Tails who previously claimed he had only ever lied three times before in his life. Sonic's sidekick nervously claims his translator must be broken, thanks Among Us for the question, and then quietly tells listeners that he has now lied four times.
If anyone is going to be good at Among Us, it's going to be someone as seemingly sweet and innocent as Tails who proudly professes to only having lied three times in his entire life. As for whether you will ever actually be able to assume the role of Tails and the rest of the Sonic Colors cast in Among Us is unclear. The effort put into answering the indie hit's question certainly suggests Sega would be up for a crossover.
Sonic certainly isn't shy when it comes to crossovers either. The blue blur has been popping up all other the place to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his very first game. Sonic is a playabale character in this year's official Olympics game, popped up in Two-Point Hospital earlier this year, and will be a playabale character along with Tails in Super Mo🌺nkey Ball Banana Mania next month. Here's hoping the balls protect Aiai and the rest of the Monkey Ball gang from Tails' newfound bloodlust.
