Following a decisive victory at Final Kombat 2020 last weekend, SonicFox has with esports organization Evil Geniuses. A move has been expected for a few weeks following SonicFox’s departure from orgℱanization Echo Fox.
Speaking to the Washington Post in a phone interview, SonicFox stated, “I feel that Evil Geniuses is an even bigger platform than I’ve ever been on, maybe the biggest one in recent years. With other organizations…I didn’t have t🌌hat reach or po𒊎tential.”
In the Fighting Game Community (FGC), SonicFox is among the best competitors in the world across several titles. In past years they have dominated 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Injustice: Gods Among Us, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat X, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dragon Ball FighterZ, and now for two years running, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mortal Kombat 11.
SonicFox has also shown off their versatility across a broad range of fighting games as a genre by entering other competitive events in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:SoulCalibur VI, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Street Fighter 5, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tekken 7, often perform🍌ing well with relatively little preparation compared to other competitors.
Evil Geniuses looks to be a great fit for SonicFox as a well-developed organization with competitive teams in a broad range of games including 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:League of Legends, CS:GO, DOTA 2, and more. If Evil Geniuses were looking to grow their presence in the FGC, signing one of the best players in the world is certainly a bold way to work 🍬towards that goal. Check out the interview below for more on SonicFox's thoughts on the great move.
SonicFox is not alone in heading to Evil Geniuses, and is joined by dekillsage, a long-time competitor with the two playing duos together in Dragon Ball FighterZ. On his own, dekillsage is a skilled player in both 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Skullgirls, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U.
The decision to move away from Echo Fox was a long time coming. The organization had a promising start, but things went downhill following a series of problems. The biggest issue that plagued the group occurred when a racist email belongin🧸g a major investor, Amit Raizada, was leaked. This ultimately led to the resignation of Rick Fox, founder of the esports organization, while the investor remained associated with Echo Fox. Since then, several promi🌳nent players have left for other esports organizations.
We wish SonicFox and dekillsage al🌞l the best in their move to Evil Geniuses. There is no doubt that the pair will find success with their new organization.
