Once a vacation destination, Site 2 was bought by the billionaire Puffton family and repurposed into a set of luxury bunkers for a privileged few. It was also the subject of a secret research facility and a deadly bidding war over its wealth of ancient artifacts and a rare, otherworldly gꦓolden ore.

Virginia is the first mutant you meet on the island, and the only one who turns out to be friendly. Her mutation, however, came at a 💎cost, as she now has an extra arm and a leg. She also ap⭕pears to have lost her memories and doesn’t show any faculty for critical thinking, past affinity, and battle. Despite her appearance, Virginia also seems to have maintained several aspects of her humanity, as she still prefers a chair to sitting on the ground, and will give you company throughout the game for no other ulterior reason than the fact that she enjoys it.
9 ༒ ♒ The Bidding War
Several pieces of evidence found on the island uncover the history of this lavish estate as one that is embroiled in conflict. When Site 2 was found, it became the subject of a bidding war between Puff Corp and Sahara Therapeutics, the owner of Site 1 in The Forest. This war saw Sahara Therapeutics plummet in market value as the Pufftons acquired the island💦.
Site 1 was also home to unethical human trials, as the company hired scientists to experiment on unwilling subjects using similar ancient artifacts to the ones found on Site 2. The subjects, who had been lured in and abducted for the purpose of research, turned into organic abominations that now roam the island and devour humans who ෴cross its path.
8 ꧋ The Artifacts 🐻
Found on both Site 1 and Site 2, the artifacts are of an ancient nature and poღssess a number of abilities, including resurrecting the dead, curing disease, opening dimensional portals to parallel universes, and emitting powerful bursts of energy that double as an EMP blast, similar to the one presumed to have brought down the ꧒helicopter at the beginning of the game.
The two most commonly referenced artifacts in Site 1 that carry on in Site 2 are the Resurrection Obelisk, which raises the dead, and the Power Obelisk, responsible for the EMP blasts🎐 that deactivate technological devices. The artifacts were also used to transform the genetic matter of the island inhabitants, and are thought to be the origin of several monsters, such as the walking torsos 🦄and the baby-slinging behemoth.
7 The Cube
Situated inside the cavern under Virginia’s bunker, the cube is repeatedly referenced to be a safe location in many of the ✨papers found strewn all over the island. It is later discovered that it activates an event every eight moon cycles, each thought to be 29–30 days long, that hurts or mutates whoever is outside the golden cube at the time.
It is also discovered that this event is likely what triggered the banquet transformation, a celebration caught on security footage where all the island’s human inhabitants, incluไding the billionaire Edward Puffton, writhed in agony and then mutated in♛to flesh abominations.
6 ꩵ The Gold Metal Ore
The gold metal ore is the island’s main resource, and the one thought to be the origin of the conflict. Several emails are found between Puff Corp and Sahara Therapeutics employees, and even s🌞pies hired by one of the companies♚ to infiltrate the other during the bidding war, detailing that this is what they were after.
The rare and extremely precious resource i🐽s found all over the island, lining the walls of the caves, and was used to make a number of items and weapons that possess supernatural abilities. The most famous item, and one that proves essential in a later part of the game, is the golden armoౠr, which is used to access and possibly activate the cube.
5 ꦰ The Mutants
The mutants are thought to be the former human inhabitants of the island who transformed during the most recent moon-triggered event. Each type of mutant has a specific set of abilities, and special tools are required to defeat them that are 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:hidden in different locations all over the island.
Apart from Virginia,ಌ all mutants are hostile and show no traces of humanity in their constant and ruthless attacks on you and the cannibals, another typౠe of violent creature that inhabits the island.
4 🅰 The Cannibals ꩵ
It is unclear who the cannibals are or where they come from, although some of them also started out as human beings who were unwillingly experimented on. They have no hair or genitals, and they are seen attacking each other as well as human beings and mutants. However, they possess certain human-like tendencies, like drinking water, backing down when y🐠ou don’t attack them, and a drive to exist in tribes.
Some fan theories suggest that the cannibals were brought on the island by Puff Corp to contain the mutants and discourage other island visitors, while others suggest that they were brought on❀ by spies and infiltrators from Sahara Therapeutics, likely after the event, for the same reasons. Types of cannibals include the regular cannibal, the dirty cannibal, the mask🦩ed cannibal, the brute cannibal, and the titan cannibal.
3 ♔ The Demons
The demons are found underground in the gated cavern leading to the golden cube, and the presence of brimstone and magma suggests that the cavern may actually be an entrance to hell. Unlike other creatures, who can be shot down with 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:guns and rifles, dem﷽ons are only brought down by crosses, which makes them burst into flames.
Similar to Virginia’s f🦋eet, their fingers and toes have also fused togethe🦹r into one mass, and all demons bear distinctive female genitalia. Unlike her, though, they are all hostile and gather excessively around the cube.
2 🦩 Timmy Le Blanc ๊
First seen fighting the baby-slinging behemoth, Timmy Le Blanc is the kid who was abducted from the helicopter crash on Site 1 by scientist Matthew Cross, who performed a number of experiment🧜s on him in order to save his own mutated daughter, Megan Cross. Timmy mysteriously grows to be the author of several books explaining the metaphysics of parall𓆏el universes.
Timmy Le Blanc, now grown, fights alongside his father, Eric Le Blanc, and manages to survive the ඣevent and make it to the cube with the protagonist. Inside, we see him explode into several versions of himself from parallel universes, and it is unclear whether the cube heals him or just makes him suffer momentarily.
1 𝄹 The Silver Jacket
This character is perhaps the one most shrouded in mystery, as they first make an appea♔rance knocking you unconscious af𝓀ter your helicopter crash. They are seen again attacking you, Timmy, and Eric Le Blanc during the fight with the baby-slinging behemoth, and then once more failing to make it inside the cube as the event was triggered on the island.
Thought to be one of the parallel universe versions of Me▨gan Cross, some fan theories suggest that they might also be one of Sahara Therapeutics hired hands, sent with armored guard to secure the island after its fall. Their origin and identity, like that of many other characters (living or mutated), are yet to be revealed.
