Firesprite, the sಞtudio best known for the Wipeout series appears to be working on a triple-A horror game, using Unreal ෴5 engine. As spotted by , the studio has put out a for a Narrative Director.
"We are looking for a Narrative Director to join our development team for a AAA narrative driven horror-adventure game in Unreal 5," reads the listing. The Narrative Director is responsible for the project storytelling, helping establish & consider the game's universe and lore, with responsibility for the quality implementation of narrative content for project milestones and ultimately the game's release."
While it isn't clear what this project could be, we do know that Firesprite has t🦹aken over develop🐻ment of the Twisted Metal reboot from Lucid Games. In fact, a high ranking employee even left Lucid Games to join Firesprite in order to continue working on the reboot. Matt Southern, who worked at Lucid Games for over two years as a director, shifted🌺 to the PlayStation studio in January. The two studios are apparently located very cl𒁃ose to one another, so more transfers are likely to take place over time.

Firesprite's experience with Wipeout makes the studio a good choice for the Twisted Metal reboot. Although, we haven't heard much on that front since the initial rumours about the change in developers. Considering that the studio is still hiring, it might be a while till we catch a glimpse of it.
